The problem with shale oil is that they will start pumping when the oil is up , when it drops , it stops pumping , so any appreciable increase in price will be correspondingly increase production, in this case , r u sure the price will go up as expected? The experts said we can expect long term poor oil prices as low as usd 40? I do hope it is not the truth.....

hope it is not a 1 day affair ...its previous performance was i day up the next day dropped...The co 9th month net profit also dropped 61%....better careful

never ending troubles for FGV .....Big corporations like epf n Kump Persaraan also been trapped in years in excess of 500 millions shares , so the only way is to cut loss in open market but this way will hamper the market sentiments n its stock price ....minority shareholders can't do much but to accept it in open arms...

it has surpassed the peak....profit taking may set in anytime now....or up again....?

Ho 's family holding 30+ % only....so great chance for the take-over by a hostile co....they just have to mop up the open market shares n can make a call for acquisition is just too good enough to send shivers to all the existing major shareholders . The amount of capital is 625-700 millions to make that call...

hope the buy momentum will be maintained ....21.5-23c in millions....

the lowest it has achieved so far but the co is making money n maintained good div pay-out. If the div pay-out is increased then u may see some price movement or else stay yo...yo...for a very long term...definitely better than FD or savings.

so , why buy from Ho family , just collect from open market will be dirt cheap!

v few sellers....n so quite difficult to buy cheap after this.....

still very undervalued....if I got the cash , i will buy up the co.....

Hopeless counter may spring more surprises in stock market

sharp pull back may offer good chance of price going N in near term...Those who bought at its lowest 44.5 r also losing monies now....n those who bought high at 46.5 r losing heavily....

from now on must be a bit cautious.....I think sharp correction may set in any moment in line with poor sentiment in Dows....on the impending interest hikes n downward oil prices to USD 40 according to experts....

Only those who has holding power will see thru in the end....

Its lands were bought below 10k per acre if I m not mistaken. Now is 500k per acre , so in mathematical terms, it should be valued 100x , that means RM 100.00 per share not 5.50 per share excluding other assets.

in material litigation....n politics as well ...sue n counter sue so cannot see any light of recovery coupled with big shareholders pumping out their reserved shares in excess of 500 millions , day in day out...so how to be positive when the big timers being trusted by the authority also lost their confidences .

Rt n warrants for bad times to save the co

What I understand is that co calling for rights n warrants is usually in financial difficulties n the only way to get help without too much obligation is thru the said vehicles n not resorted to bank borrowing where the risks of servicing debts via interest payment will be exorbitant n will eat into the co earnings year in year out .

Hope the sudden rise can be maintained n not 1 day show.......as the TP 1.08 has been breached .

Accumulated losses amounting to > 50 millions , propose to half the share into 5 c n later consolidation 2 into 1 which involved an elaborate exercise....somehow , someone will be caught in the process n suffered immeasurable losses.

vol too small to call a sell.....accumulation phase...looking forward, if many retailers chose to close their businesses , then it will be good news for Padini coz no more fierce competition in the same businesses.
