i would answer u 'yes'...for long term investment since price range at SMA-200 line..

8.30 now.....2 out of 3 recent accumulation now green
@ 8.21 green
@ 8.26 green
@ 8.38 red

yesterday, after ex-div, i Sell Q MEDIA @ 1.42 and did not monitor...then only 1 lot matched at end of the day!!!..hv to pay min fee for that 1 lot :((

KLCI back to green...might be good news for Maybank tomolo...

no more fund accumulate today :((... fund still stuck in MEDIA..tomolo ex-div

recently, under rebalancing exercise, MSCI reduced stock weightage on Maybank & CIMB, but increase on IHH and PB, based on their own TP analysis..

This triggers foreign investor to sell both MBB and CIMB, and as mentioned by @ alexsee, today is the last day to complete their rebalancing exercise..

therefore, i accumulated @ 8.38, @ 8.26 @ 8.21..expecting for rebound in long-term and September 2016 dividend to cover my short-term loss..

Malaysia fall under "Emerging Market Index" https://www.msci.com/emerging-markets

MSCI TP for Maybank is 7.50...anything can happen...

Based on my reading @ Investing.com...Investor seems start pricing in for possible Fed interest rate..if that is the case...then current price could be a support lvl after interest rate hike (if happen)..
Any further drop could be a new support level..

@xenos...no boss..first i was in buying Q @ 8.20 where 15,198 lot was queuing ahead of me..
then finally jumped one cent up and bought @ 8.21

after 2-days red...Maybank deserve for green tomolo...

Mary, if based on ringgit appreciation last friday, stock should recover slowly this week..but possible Fed interest hike in coming days still makes many to be caution (i go with xenos)...
i accumulated/avg down last friday, for long-term and dividend, as the price well below SMA-200days..

so u may decide base on your objective..

8.26 matched...averaged down for now..
will wait for next opportunity..
