Yes, Eversendai has great reputation in oversea as compared to local. They won Singapore project as well. Even Nathan admitted in interview that the construction and infrastructure sector in Malaysia is too "dark" with a lot of unwritten rules and he favor oversea than local market.

But that does not change the fact that Eversendai has management problems. They need to position and differentiate themselves. Cutthroat war prices cant bring further though may survive. Only a company that can create highest value to customers with minimal costs (i.e. high profit margin) will win investor's heart in long run.

The company got thick orderbook but most probably is because cutthroat prices bidding and thus low profit margin. Thus unattractive ROE too. It can survive winter but will be difficult to blossom even in spring. Hopefully management will can improve.
