So @pussycat mentioned why pilot did not land in the nearest airport. Perth to Kl, whats the nearest airport with only 1-2 hours in to flight? Perth to KL takes 5-6 hours. So in the middle probably end you up in the sea, best bet will be turn back to your origin. People should start selling Roy-Royce shares instead, their new engines Trent is making a lot of issue lately.
