Scicom is definitely one of the beneficiaries arising from the boundary opening, though I believe the positive effect may not immediately, but surely coming in progressively & in stages.

Scicom's previous main contributors of revenue was from travel industry, the company did very well to capture the boom of ecommerce during pandemic since 2020 and well compensated the loss of revenue in travel industry.

Now, with the coming back of travelling activities, there is something positive we can hope for Scicom.

With boundaries opening soon and confirmed increasing numbers in traffic report from Malaysia Airport recently, let's see how it goes

Not meant to compared, when KGB was RM1.83 on 4/1/2022, Scicom was only RM1.16.

Today, KGB is RM1.32 while Scicom is RM1.22.

When you cheer for kgb, I can sleep well with scicom without worrying lossing my money.

this is dividend cum growth play for me

Very attractive of Dividend Yield 5.8% with limited downside now, upside is visible instead.

I know what I want & I have my own strategies for my money.

For Scicom, 1.30 is just fair price to me, not attractive enough for me to sell.

I have learned my lesson in the past that:

No matter how loud you shout or promote, it won't go up just because you did that
It also won't go down just because you or many are cursing it in the forum

Because we are all ikan bilis

all we can do is to do our best in our homework to make the right & best decision for our own money, that's it.

I am very happy with the manangement for delivering good result & keeping the trandition to have dividend payout almost 80% EVERY QUARTER for more than 10 years.

I have been accumulating since last year whenever SCICOM price was weak & not sell a single share until now, I have confidence in SCICOM & the Management

If you think this is good mid-long term dividend stocks, set your time horizon longer & set your own investing strategy

Just my 2 cents advise, if you are long term investors, don?t be bothered by all these noise

To be honest, my holding in Scicom is only 80% of my allocation for Scicom, I hope to get more at cheaper price as I believe Scicom is safe place for mid term investment (2-3 years).

I am not disappointed because my main reasons to invest Scicom are:

1) dividend
2) improving business result
3) right industry for e-commerce
4) healthy balance sheet

At current price of RM1.20 & based on last 2 Q annualized EPS, the PE ratio is 13.6 times.

Annualised Dividend based on current Q = 4x2 cents = 8 cents, estimated Dividend Yield = 6.7%

Profit 2.2 cents
Dividend 2.0 cents

Result is at par with previous quarter, will be bit of disappointed for those hope for higher EPS

But good to have 2 cents dividend.

Annualised dividend gives 6.7% dividend yield.

Getting even more attractive at this price, after revisit & read the reports, continue to top up whenever price is weak, added some today @ 0.56

Look like someone uses i3 platform as his backyard game toy, he always freely say everything without having any shameful feeling & a sense of responsibility.

Good luck to those who admire, follow & worship him.
