Can’t wait to have more leaked & disclosed through court evidences. Or else no way can know anything.

this counter is kind of enabling you to sleep peacefully without worrying too much, at least it is proven covid impactless since the commercial operation of Kampar new terminal
Short term feel good factors:
1. Quarterly giving out dividends (5% yield)
2. solid contributions from logistic tenants @ 2 terminals + more tenants to come
3. Potential 3-4 terminal agreements in 2022
4. Increasing footfalls at Kampar terminal
Longer term
1. Upcoming new Bidor terminal with construction to be completed in 2023

I have no idea what can Serba do for Bursa has already possessed all the information & documents?
It will be different scenario IF Bursa’s representative didn’t sit in the meeting & obtained the information/documents via informal resources/channel.

Badly managed.
TSH’s core net profit would have been higher in 3QFY21 if the group did not record fair value losses of RM16.1mil on commodity futures contracts. Unrealised and realised losses on commodity contracts amounted to RM24.9mil in total in 9MFY21.

It is very funny by comparing bad apple to all good apples.
That bad apple Serba has been generating negative operating cash flows for many years and receivables increased year after year without lower or collecting from them. That's the similar pattern to Transmile & someone playing with the figures.
If you look at the cash flow statements of Perak Transit, it has been generating very healthy & strong cash flows from its operations every year, that don't lie.
So if you think it is Serba in making just because of good result but no price up, then it is your personal feeling, which I think it is not factual based concluded opinion.
I wish all good luck.

I personally doubt if any accounting firm is now dare to accept any job request from SD, SD’s reputation is considered down to drain, following the latest drama development.

I have a friend in Sabah who just started to venture into steel business making roof & all kinds of steel products using cold coils & sheets.
He tried to ask around quotations from west Malaysia producers and the lowest quote he got was RM8000+ per ton (coils).
You know what? He managed to import 3 tonnes from China using container & forwarding agent for custom clearance. With all costs, he received the items in Lahad Datu with average price of RM5000+ per tonnes.
So the reality?

Hope Serba can take the legal actions until the end, so we can know more facts & evidences from Serba’s side through the court proceedings.
By taking the bursa to the court, now SIR itself has become court evidence. Serba has reason NOT to produce to anyone until any court order made.

As it is not a problem, Karim indeed challenges why he needs to produce SIR?

Anything can happen, nothing new in this crazy world.
It is so unpredictable & full of uncertainties.
When someone's creditability & integrity is in doubt and all eyes are on him for him to clear the clouds, he instead choose to take action to those regulators & independent auditors, then the common business sense will tell you something not right.

From AmInvest:
We believe that TSH’s FFB production in 2HFY21 would be lower YoY after a bumper harvest in 1HFY21. TSH’s oil palm trees in Indonesia were productive in 1HFY21 as reflected in the 16.7% YoY increase in FFB production. Recall that in August 2021, a few SGX-listed Indonesia planters had said that their FFB production in 2H2021 would be the same as 1H2021.

TSH won’t be affected materially by 33% tax rate as Malaysia operations commanded less than half of the total profit, or in other words, Malaysian operations may generate slightly above 100mil profits
———————
greenland 33% tax for profit above 100mio , 24% for profit below 100mio… ok lah. Assuming TSH make 300mio profit 2022, the additional 18mio tax only..

2021-10-29 16:49 | Report Abuse
In regards to shortage of labour, what do you think for those who has plantations in Indonesia?
I was told they do not have this issue, compared to those in Malaysia
2021-10-29 16:48 | Report Abuse
Definitely on the better economy of scale for big firms
2021-10-29 11:56 | Report Abuse
Another issue is shortage of labour, it is real, but not as serious as reported in the news. It is still manageable for big plantation because big firms have better planning & resources to coup with the challenges
It is the smallholders who are receiving greater impacts over the shortage. As many small holders in Sabah are relying on indonesia workers and some of them had gone back to Indonesia, making small holders unable to harvest smoothly over their estates
2021-10-29 11:52 | Report Abuse
Hi Mr Calvin,
I fully agreed with your statement below, I call my friend in Sabah where his family owns more than 5000 acres palm oil plantation in Lahad Datu, he confirmed that now price for FFB is RM1,000.
One thing need to clarify is the running costs for small holders will be very different from big plantation
Cost of bigger plantation will have higher running costs as we can see from all PLCs reports.
———————————————
We spoke to one Whataspp friend called Mr. M.S. Lee of Sitiawan who owned 45 acres of oil palms
Last month he whataspped us the Invoice for selling his FFB (Fresh Fruit Bunches)
It was Rm940 a ton (In those bleak years only Rm300 to Rm350 a ton)
Then last week he whataspped the Amazing Sale price of Rm1,040 a ton
He said his cost of Fertilizer, Weed killer & transport amount to Rm250 per ton
So Rm1,040 - Rm250
= Rm790 Clean Profit a month per acre
One year?
Rm790 x 12
= Rm9,480 (Really Amazing Profit)

For those who familiar with palm oil industries, they will tell you that price is almost everything
Secondly is yield per hectare/acre. This represents how efficient & effective on the management ability to get the best out of the land & manage its people/workers.
Finally, the ages of trees & land sizes
Not so particular on fertilizers & other costs, as these are pretty fixed & standard
Technically, this industry is extremely transparent, nothing special.
