Winnerzheng, I have heard & read your points many many times at Icap AGMs & newsletters subscription (yes, i was stupid, paid for few years but earned nothing, because TTB keep saying market is going to collapse).

I sold all my icap shares around RM2.30 last year's August, now the price remain the same.

Since then I bought Airasia when price was around RM0.80, bought Gadang, bought CCB, earning more than 50%! I did it without any professional training except reading & studying articles in i3.

The only selling points in icap are they are holding a lot of cash (do nothing) & discounted NTA.

They have been doing nothing with the cash & pls search around bursa, there are more than 65 stocks where their price are discounted as much as icap. So what so special on that front?

Can TTB explain why icap share price has not moved for past 5 years?

That's why I disposed off all my icapital shares in last August after holding for more than 8 years since 2008, VERY DISAPPOINTED!

My public mutual fund earned almost 100% while icap was only 30% less, what a joke!!!

That's why even though they want to off load the whole stocks in hand, they were patiently selling bit by bit, day by day. Everyone has 24 hours a day.

But knowing the facts that 2 major shareholders have been selling EVERYDAY since 6 months ago, it really scares me. Imagine you are eating birds nets every morning, but always lao sai before noon, what can your body get? NOTHING.

IBanker, I really don't know & I can't predict the movement of price as it subject on how other investors look at it, when most of them are optimistic, price will up, when most are fearful, price will down, but I believe my judgement & I like this from apini:

Imagine the era without internet, all investment decisions were all depending on news from newspapers, radios & tv, all of which are already outdated.

We could only know the reasons of up or down sometimes by listening to the news at 7pm or 8pm, but most of the time from the next day's newspapers.

The pain of losing 10 cents are 3 times (or more) greater than 10 cents increased.

Ask those sifus who are only appear when price down & disappear when price up. They had sustained when price down to RM1.16.

Why appear, because they are positive & wish to show support to other fellows.

Why disappeared? because need not to say when price is up.

3000-5000 are for proton to toyota class, luxury will be even much higher amount.

Car registered at Dec 2015 will have same 2nd car value with Jan 2015. While Jan 2016 will have higher 2nd car of at least RM3000-RM5000.

Why many car makes like to promote year end sales?

If you ask a used car dealer, price for cars registered in early year or near end of year are same.

Increase price in 2016 & give discount for 2015 price, that will attract many people to move their plan to own car in 2016 to 2015.
