@ Dericlock
I think the differences is because you calculated RM300mil net profit per annum(Means you are expecting RM75mil net profit after tax this coming quarter??)
Whereas OrlandoOIL calculated RM165mil per annum (next quarter PAT should be RM40mil??)
Mine only PAT RM100mil per annum(next quarter PAT should be RM25mil)
Note: PAT exclude good will and extraordinary gains from sale of assets

Actually at current price is already reflecting fair value.
I think many are too optimistic and hoping the price to go above RM1 (PE:15)with Sabah PSC.
At RM1.50-RM2.00, as most are anticipating, the PE=23-30 for a small cap.
I think it's too expensive.
You guys figure that out.

My estimation is for total 4 quarters PROFIT AFTER TAX.
Quite close to your PBT if include tax.

Actually after looking at the Sabah PSC acquisition, assuming it contributes to hibiscus total net profit , the current price is more or less reflected it.
Safe assumption that 4Q profit=RM100 mil, excludes goodwill & extraordinary gains, at price of RM1 is already PE 15.

This company is not related to Jack Ma's Alipay or Alibaba.
Refer to IPO prospectus page 92.
It says that Revenue group is the only partner with "Company A" in Malaysia.
Note: Alipay is already with GHL and Ipay88 in Malaysia (Page 113)

Supermax & Kossan are smaller. Probably have to factor in a discount(10%-20%) to the PE as compared with Topglove & Harta.

Once next QR is out only will know the additional impact on earnings.
It supposed to be factored into the stock price but it seems muted at this moment.

Shahril remuneration does not commensurate with the company's performance.
His bonus should turn down.
But somehow voting FOR still above 80%, meaning most shareholders agree!!

I believe the 4 IPP are Malaysia based.
As for J@K$, the plant and its operations are in Vietnam.
Similar to YTLPOWER Wessex Water, our minister would not have jurisdiction to terminate YTLPOWER's operation in UK.
I don't see any issue.

The share buy back quantum too small to push up share price.
The company is not genuinely buying much.
Real share buy back will look like YTL Corp or YTL Power.
Everyday consistently more than 5 mil share buy back.

Very small, no impact from trade war.

If Aspion directors are providing profit guarantee, why the need to worry?
Unless, they are frauds. But according to the news, they are willing to defend themselves and will prove Topglove wrong.
SO I guess the we can take their word for it since the S&P have the profit guarantee clause in it.

Unlikely for crude oil to exceed USD100 per barrel anytime soon.
Saudi Arabia & Russia is ready to pump additional 2mil-3 mil per barrel into the market which would bring crude oil closer toward USD60 instead.

E&P segment alone worth A$2.7 bil?
For current Quarter revenue by segment for SAPRNG:
E&C 665,621 ('000)
Drilling 183,387('000)
E&P 209,772 ('000)
So SAPRNG should be worth more than RM0.61?

apolloang , calculate as follows:
His average is RM1.40. He had sold half of his shares at RM1.60, gaining RM0.20.
Taking the gain into account, he is saying RM1.40-RM0.20=RM1.20
The share price had never reach RM1.20.
His own way of calculation.

Gkent MRT2 encountering issues
The relationship between China Communications Construstion Co Ltd and its JV partner GKent is understood to be fraying at the seams because of issues. The two companies have a JV called CCCC-GKent JV on a 51:49 basis.
The cause of the problems is understood to be the RM1 billion systems work package for the Sungai-Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya MRT2, which the two companies had bagged in Aug 2016.
MRT Corp officials said they are watching them closely.
Without any replies from GKent, it is difficult to gauge how issues concerning the contract may impact the company or its RM5.38 billion order book.
Meanwhile CCCC has been-GKent JV comes on the back of the Malaysian government suspending work on the RM81 billion ECRL.
It is also worth nothing that CCCC in partnership with CCCC Sdn Bhd, might have been one of two companies shortlisted by the BN government for the construction of the RM45 billion MRT3.
GKent’s chairman Tan Sri Tan Kay Hock, who controls 42.21% stake onf GKent is lcose associate to Najib. GKent’s success in recent years was the result of strong political connections.
Its fortunes changed when from dealing in water meters and diversified into rail construction, largely JV Ampang LRT project, LRT3 and other lucrative large rail jobs.
However since the BN government was toppled, things have taken a turn for the worst at GKent and the market has reacted to the uncertainty surrounding the company.
Till 06 July 2018, the company had shed 70% since GE14. The sell down in GKent can be attributed to its weak earnings prospects. With its future projects more or less gone, most market watchers were banking on CCCC-GKEnt JV’s MRT2 contract to maintain its earnings. Now (July 2018) even that seems to be in trouble.
While its outlook appears dim, GKent had cash and bank balances of RM396.74 million as at April 2018 while its short term borrowings stood at RM51.01 million and RM2.21 million. Retained earnings amounted to RM257.95 million.

Agree with you.
Seems not likely that Topglove management does not know it.
Unless they are conning the investors.
If this looks like another case of TRANSMILE, I think this is the end of this counter.

Based on the SSM, last quarter result only RM7 mil.
Multiple that with 4 Q is RM28 mil.
Topglove valued it at 17 times PE = RM476 mil.
Aspion should not be paid anything more than RM500mil.
