Seriously, u really think that value investing is crunching number and arm with different formula? Then u really know nothing about value investing and I suggest you to go and watch the annual meeting of Berkshire Hathaway. It take a lot more to become value investor.

First of all, you need to be discipline and do not influence by noise and crowd behavior. Secondly, you need to understand the business well by looking at their past performance. It provide you a basis of valuation but always bear in mind that past does not represent future. Thirdly, you need to study the nature of the business and also read report, a lots of report for the understanding of the trend of industry. Last, you need to understand the management behavior to ensure the company will not fall because of mismanagement.

It is definitely not easy to be a value investor but it is totally worth it. Every decision you made will double or triple your return. And it is not only about crunching numbers.

Yes, they need to obtain CMSRL license from SC. The most common license will be module 6 and module 7 which usually obtained by broker and remisier to provide advice to their client. It is a must in Malaysia and those who fail to comply might charge under CMSA.

@cmchong1, I already say is assume. You can assume whatever PE u like. So I gave two assumption, the first is the market generous enough to give 18 times then Karex will not have so much downside.
The second assumption is market does not like their quarter result and give a 5 to 8 times PE which is a normal PE ratio to consider a company as cheap then Karex will have more downside.
As I said the article is just the express of my own opinion and if you can write a better article to teach us about the upside or downside of Karex then I am more than happy to listen.

@JohonnyKhong, I think I made myself pretty clear as I am a supporter for Karex as the company will definitely growth in long term. After all what can go wrong as condom manufacturing. The article is for those short term trader that intend to buy before QR and also people still off the fence that think Karex will drop. I hope it help them to sell so I can buy at lower price. That is my only intention. As for the FOMC hike, based on the report I think it is unlikely due to the mixed report yesterday. But I couldn't comment much since I am not real economist here. KAREX should worth 84sen with projected EPS of 10.5sen and PE of 8. However, I project a 20% drop of EPS which will be 0.088 and PE of 5 so 44sen is a reasonable buying price.
