Too hard to predict macro economics short term but long term Ringgit always devalues due to BN government.

No only export will drop but real estate will also crash if Ringgit continues to strengthen. Reason it didnt crash few years ago was becoz RM was devalued soanu asses were saved.

Ringgit strengthens due to Najib borrowing billions USD and change to MYR to give out election money. Same like previous election, after election you need to pay back USD then ringgit will drop again. Repeat of 1MDB?

If you wanna invest in semicon then take a look at Qualcomm as despite losing 2 major customers Apple and Samsung and semicon down cycle, its earnings still healthy while at the same time its stock price is 50% off its 1-year peak.

Another risk factor of this stock is more than 50% of revenue comes from just 2 customers. Be careful of this kind of stock, as losing one of time will be devastating.

Pls keep this stock until next quarter result if you want more disappointments, as most ppl need 2 quarters results to wake up. Talking about cycle with me? I'm in semicon industry, this result doesn't look like due to cycles, it looks more like the pump and dump by insiders before ipo.

The reason it can pay dividend higher than EPS is because, dividend is based on *actual cash flow* while profit is based on accrual accounting which includes depreciation, forex loss, etc.

@ivklse ytlreit income in Malaysia is guaranteed thru fixed leases (with increment), while Australia tourism is only ever increasing since the depreciation of Aussie dollar.
