Asiabio was a good example of foreign fund buying ACE counters when Goldman Sachs bought in previously before selling all sometime in Mar14.
Equityengineer Now the whole world know IFCA , but can the foreign fund buy Ace market stocks ..

Let's term them as 'vested party creditors'.
Think about it: Sdn Bhd not necessarily bad, isn't it? Bhd need public funding while Sdn Bhd are generally privately funded by their limited number of owners....no wonder the tyre shop owner I know always tell me 'listed company 'bo lui' eh...' :)
DickyMe "zero debt" is myth, All the shareholders who bought the rights issue funded. Company owes them. It is an eye-wash in terms of accounting.

Bro, in both bases they rely on historical. The last few quarters' improving operational profitabilities probably explain the favourable fundamental rating. valuation wise seem opaque, but in consideration that the Company is pretty much in its initial stage as an upstream infant with no oil assets in books and the volatility of the O&G sector probably explain the unfavourable valuation rating.

@nomanland: Bro, that is The Edge exclusive benchmark detail as follow:
Valuation Score
The score is a snapshot of the stock’s attractiveness in terms of valuations calculated based on historical numbers. The score ranges from 0-3. A Valuation Score of 0 means valuations are not attractive and a score of 3 means valuations are attractive.
Fundamental Score
The score is a snapshot of the company’s profitability and balance sheet strength derived from historical numbers. The score ranges from 0-3. A score of 0 means weak fundamentals and a score of 3 means strong fundamentals.
Extract from this morning's article (http://www.theedgemarkets.com/my/article/sumatec-expand-production-despite-low-oil-prices):
KUALA LUMPUR: Sumatec Resources Bhd ( Financial Dashboard) has no plans to diversify its businesses. The company will continue to focus on exploration and production despite the sharp fall in crude oil prices, said chief executive officer Chris Dalton.
He said Sumatec (fundamental: 2.4; valuation: 0.9) will drill more oil wells to expand its production capacity.
- Fundamental rating: 2.4/3 >> approx. 80%
- Valuation rating: 0.3/3 >> approx. 30%
Btw, I also newbie..+ freshie too. :)

It is interesting to note the 'unprecedented' ratings denoted on the Company's fundamentals (approx.80%) and valuation (approx. 30%) if one reads this morning's article by The Edge. Enjoy your lunch, folks.

If there is one shareholder that needs to dispose, it has to be CYP. Time's up for him to exit from the sumatec arena.

This is a serious representation from a CEO standpoint equivalent to declaring the whole world that 'Yes, this is absolutely a goreng company'....not advisable for him to say that. :)
