why not showing at RM1.98?

Say before split, someone bought 3000 shares at RM3.00 price, so invested RM9,000.00.

Price increased up to RM9.98 before split, it worths RM29,940.00 (3000 shares x this price).
good profit, lots of people may have taken profit and selling all of them, invest again after split!?

After split, today 27 Dec, shares amount increased 5x, so becomes 15,000 shares.

hi asamlaksa, I have been holding never sell as I love this golden goose, and waiting sales to buy more

we all have experienced the drastic up/down, for those with limited bullets or new buyers, I believe panic sellers still in here, they continue to sell without second thoughts when price suddenly downtrend.

if today continue the strong volume and buying force pushing up the price to near the TP, I guess we no longer getting any cheaper shares. People may have such thoughts too and try to grab some shares first.

About this Friday (27Dec), lots of folks expect it will drop due to selling, and those who sell are good to go, leaving us who will sail to paradise of datasonic

Johnny cash, I guess it happens on Friday lah, those entitled 5x share split, only will see their shares on Friday. However no doubts that those ppl can't wait, can still sell all the shares including those entitled shares which will only deposited into their account on 26 Thursday evening 5pm.

if not much price different(5s-10s or 20s), then there is not much different, better don't sell/buy

-avg price at RM3.88, holds 10,000 shares
-conditions: end of year 2013, FED QE3 meeting, EX Date Split 27 Dec

(a) If price reach RM11 this week, sell 8000 shares, keep 2000 shares. Plan to buyback later after split, perhaps at RM2.00~2.50 price

(b) If price reach RM11 this week, seel ALL 10,000 shares. Plan to buyback later after split, perhaps at RM2.00~2.50 price

(c) Keep the shares, do not sell at all

which would you choose?

So expecting
1) either straight flying up till closer to 2.90, OR
2) drop a bit at the beginning, let these folks leaving, then fly up
3) OR the market still pressure this counter, no chance to fly unless syndicate fry it up
