if u compare Philips commentaries with IB commentaries.........which you rather have?

which has a better approach, more clarity, no nonsense, big picture and focus on what is truly important for genuine long term investors...ie management and business.

IB's are cigar butts investing, value here, value there......can make money meh? and mostly, no opinions.

no compare.......kyy and philips are totally different.

the only similarity is Q..................ability to execute........stock picking and holding period very different la.........

depends when one is born and started investing.........buy a few companies ( not many) and kept for last 30 years also can make a lot of money already....

but the interesting part of Philips is that he has the intellectual capacity to do proper investing.............not just luck.

IMO Philips cannot be faulted......Over a life time, I think simple jumps better than triple sommersaults...........simple investing participating in the growth of assured excellent companies, focused......

in a forum, a lot of distractions.

don't ask Philips about second and third liners.......want to ask Philips, ask Philips about Serba, fund managers hot favorite stock, ticks all the right boxes........

I remember calvin strong promotion in early 2017 ( $ 1.40 to $ 1.70)....but I tell him log and CPO production statistics ( they have to announce monthly very poor). Badly affected El Nino .............Calvin turn around and say El Nino good for them.........calvin is faith based healer.
