I believe sona is one of those " small numbers of potential buyers " mentioned in the articles. Salamander is UK based listed company. When sona spiked on 16 april.....go back to our forum on 16 april our friend "bobo" posted a comment that from his a very reliable fren that sona got UK project ( but the truth is may be some body got info that sona had approached a UK based company ). Then yesterday.....TLTAN came out with this Salamander and from the articles.....Salamander is in negotiation with " small numbers of potential buyers " to sell production assets in thailand and indonesia or possibility of selling entire company valued at RM 2b . To buy entire company may be not enough money for sona. To buy minority stake in Bualuang feild in thailand and kerendan field in indon are possible. These two are producing assets. About PTT , I think they are very glad to have a partner from SEA instead of UK.Could you imagine if Sona partnering PTT........wow....meletup......well... all said.......wait and see........

This is what I understand about MGO......correct me If I am wrong......
When Felda owns more than 33% of encorp , it is mandatory for felda to offer MGO to encorp remaining shareholders. It is only mandatory to offer..up to you to accept or not. Now felda owns about 50%. so the offer is coming. If after the offer total acceptance and felda owned shares become 70% or more then general offer become conditional meaning you have choice to sell or not.But if total acceptance and felda owned become 90% or more the GO become Unconditional..meaning you have no choice to sell to felda......conclusion..if total acceptance + felda is less than 70%, GO will be aborted..encorp still listed..if acceptance + felda is more 70% but less than 90% , than it is you choice but encorp still listed....more than 90% you have to surrender and encorp delisted.....

Its a regulation.....a listed company must held AGM within six months after the end of it's financial year. In the case of sona it's financial year end is december...that is why sona produced audited report for financial end december 2013 recently.....so sona must held AGM to present this report to the shareholders before 30 june 2014.........somebody suggested AGM will be held on 16 jun....I believe somebody will push sona up before AGM,,,,,in order to have a peaceful AGM......

not much excitement because TM is buying packet one, not GP. Now P1 is operating at a loss. Say later Tm turned P1 into a company with profit of 50m (optimistic side). With 30% shares, GP profit portion is only 15m.EPS will be only 2 sen. Assuming PE of 20 (optimistic side), the valuation for GP is only 40 sen........lu pikirlah sendiri......
