NetX Holdings Berhad joins forces with Malaysia-based online event ticketing platform, BuyTicket Sdn. Bhd, to build a regional intelligent event experientialplatform. Date-Petaling Jaya,GEM Live Sdn Bhd(“GEM”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NetX Holdings Berhad (Stock code 0020),announced earlier today that the signing of a collaborative effort between them (“GEM”) and Malaysia-based online ticketing platform, BuyTicketsSdn. Bhd, has been completed. GEM, an abbreviation for “Great Experiences Matter”, recently launcheda lifestyle and entertainment appwhich following thiscollaboration,will develop, integrate,and deploy an enhanced AI driven (Web and App) event ticketing platform. BuyTickets is an online event ticketing platform based in Malaysia. Housing a host of concerts, events and even theme parks tickets, the platform strives to help itsclients and partners driveticket sales via its strategic partnerships.The signing of the Collaboration Agreement will result in GEM integrating events listed on BuyTickets onto their recently launched lifestyle and entertainment experiential platform. Similarly, BuyTickets will also gain access to both,the current and future host of events listedon the GEM platformto be sold on their website.This collaboration would result in the instant expansion of support for users on both, the app and web frontfor GEM and BuyTickets.With GEM soon expanding it’s reach to international markets; the partnership would open the doors to a seamless ticket purchasing experience for international events across the globe for domestic Malaysian users.
