I'm happy with EPF's purchases but somewhat puzzled with their "buy high sell low" tactics.

Briefly going through Box Pak's financials, it's high operating leverage - generating a huge turnover but tiny profits and it's absence of dividends are perfect combination for a low share price.

There must be a compelling reason for someone to take it private. A more believable & rationale reason for magnum to fly would be to remove GST since it already pays a hefty amount to the government in the form of sin taxes & help compete against the illegals

Looks like this stock is going nowhere. No incentives to shareholders. EPF has a ton to unload so each time wants to go up, EPF is there to depress it. There's also no dividends. Even the food at AGM leaves much to be desired. Wishing for quick departure of MD. Bye Bye !!

BJ corp does not own all of Btoto. Currently in the entire Berjaya group, Btoto is the cash-cow.

Considering the circumstances I'm just ok with the results & 3 sen dividend is fine

I think this counter has the fundamentals but the share price is stunted due to EPF unloading everytime the share price rises & it has a lot to unload.

Either EPF needs to raise cash for whatever dubious purposes or it feels that this counter despite its low valuation has no future

The petrol pump price went up & so has the value of the inventory it holds. The brave who went in when the stock was at ridiculously low PE is now reaping the gains. It's still absurdly low btw.

In the long run we are all dead. Hopefully however we will outlive the MD.

The past few quarters performance have been encouraging

TA's research 5 Sep 16 - puts target price @ RM4.03, up from RM3.23 due to among others - "lower interest rate, defensive nature of the stock & resilient earnings". Too high target price in my opinion.

I believe that this stock with a genuine brick & mortar business model is a good long term investment (but not too long I hope haha).

Puny dividends of only 8.8m when the cash reserves is in excess of 176m and retained earnings in excess of 1.188b. The See brothers were more generous.
