Any way given the improvement in CPO price, I'm rubbing my hands in glee waiting for the last quarter results. I agree 100% that B.Kawan can give out more dividends, maybe 20 sen each quarter is not asking too much.

I'd guess 25 sen is not asking for too much looking at its performance to date. I'd be disappointed if it was lower.

Maybe the price is pushed up in preparation of a bad announcement so that when it falls there's a cushion haha

EPF's stake was 8.572% on 13 Dec 2016 after hundreds of thousands of shares scooped up from the market, it's stake as of 23 Jan 2017 was 8.992%. This resulted in the share price appreciating 20 sen.

On the downside with no quarterly announcement yet, it implies that perhaps insider trading is alive and well.

Given that last year was 20 sen, I'm hoping for 25 sen despite the YTD performance not as good. Barring unforseen matters, it's sustainable as it's still < the projected EPS.

I'm surprised that sale of its assets can be such bullish news unless Paramount sold it way above its fair value. There would be a future loss of revenue from it.

I'm happy with EPF's purchases but somewhat puzzled with their "buy high sell low" tactics.

Briefly going through Box Pak's financials, it's high operating leverage - generating a huge turnover but tiny profits and it's absence of dividends are perfect combination for a low share price.

There must be a compelling reason for someone to take it private. A more believable & rationale reason for magnum to fly would be to remove GST since it already pays a hefty amount to the government in the form of sin taxes & help compete against the illegals

BJ corp does not own all of Btoto. Currently in the entire Berjaya group, Btoto is the cash-cow.

I think this counter has the fundamentals but the share price is stunted due to EPF unloading everytime the share price rises & it has a lot to unload.

Either EPF needs to raise cash for whatever dubious purposes or it feels that this counter despite its low valuation has no future
