Genting Highlands confirmed that 1 employee of the security department has been infected
November 25, 2020
(Kuala Lumpur, 25th) Genting Highlands confirmed tonight that an employee of the security department at Genting World tested positive for COVID-19 on November 24.
Genting Highlands issued a statement stating that this case was discovered during the group's routine health and safety screening procedures for employees and contractors, including medical tests.
"The employee was stationed at the unloading area of ​​the warehouse and did not come into contact with any of our customers. The employee's activities are restricted to a fixed range and can be tracked. The confirmed employee is currently receiving treatment in a government hospital."
The statement pointed out that the Ministry of Health has immediately received the notification and launched detailed follow-up. Those who have had close contact with the employee are currently undergoing isolation and testing. The resort has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in the area involved in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
