But, it doesn't always mean higher profit for the producer as they are selling at lower quantity due to supply shortage. On top of that, the buyer will buy lesser quantity due to high price and turn to other substitute products.

In the long run, producers will increase output for CPO due to higher price and demand, causing downward pressure on the CPO price.

When it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Good QTR profit does not always correlate with share price gain. For example, Supermax share price dropped >-25% after precious QR announcement of 400m profit. Check the Mid august share price history for more information.

The fact is, for whatever reasons, Supermax's share price dropped more than 25 in a few days after previous QR announcement of Historical profit 400m. Period. Sell and comeback only next cycle.

Careplus did well in recent QTR too. But one way down from day 1. If you think you know something too well, think again.

I dont know. Based on past QR lesson (-25% in few trading days after 400m profit), i will take profit in the early morning and never look back until next cycle. Rule of thumb: protect your capital.

If i remembered correctly, in last QR when they announced the 400m profit, share price went deep down immediately more than -25% in few trading days... hopefully history will not repeat it self tomorrow.

I won't invest single cent on this counter because the competition is huge considering the rapid expansion of Eco-Shop kedai 2 Ringgit eating up their revenue or profit a.k.a margin erosion. On top of that, Shopee RM15 free shipping is another huge threat as it targetted younger/white colar /aunty shoppers. I am sure you also heard a lot of complaints on their product quality too.
