5 grams per ton is just an example.
Anyway, let's continue "chui sui".
Let's say, due to some technical issue, the company do not know exactly how much gold they have produced in a month instantly. All the ore will be processed into gold dore then further purify. So, at the end of the month, only iron ore extracted and some semi-finished product (the gold dore) can be accounted for. When it finished process, then you will see gold at inventory next month or the month after.
From Oct 15 till Jan 16, company said they didn't sell any gold, rather they are keeping it. (correct me if I am wrong).
(Inventory - Ore) [let's assume the gold dore is negligible or is just a semi-finished product]
Oct 15 25.308KG 17745 MT
Nov 15 37.749KG 18390 MT
Dec 15 370KG 22017 MT
Jan 16 544.58 25807 MT
Note that production is actually increasing by looking at ore extracted. Probably they just cannot finish process or take account for, so Nov 15 gold inventory didn't up much. Anyway, you will know actual production by doing some simple division. (sum the MT up and divided by gold stock)
Icon8888, the actual figure may be around 6.xx gram / MT of ore.
Anyway, I am not buying.
Good Night!

Sifu Icon8888 and others,
I did little bit of research so I would like to share information with you.
I probably won't buy this share so share with you also no harm.
1. The actual production is measured by Ore mined x 0.005 (5 grams in 1MT) + 70% x gold dore (using your assumption). Basically 100KG + per month only.
2. Mango2 did brought up some very interesting questions: i.e. the production figures nobody knows how to read (except me of course, haha), and they sold it all for a while last year so we can calculate the margin from there. (Icon8888 u do it lah) Look at Q2 ending July 2015, very slim margin.
3. GP Lau already passed away so CK Lau is taiko now. Anyway, Hap Seng's style is "we got money style" so probably management realise gold mining is not a good business but gold speculation could be. Since they got CK Lau to backup so no harm stock all the gold they produced.
Good day!

Before the forex losses and plane crash, AA share price is hovering around RM2.90. CIMB said if the oil price stay low for an extending period of time, they will give a price target of RM6. Then shit happened....dropped to 80 cents.
I would say easily RM6-8 in 3 years.
Next quarter, possible for resume paying out dividend.

iHunter, obviously you are making a huge mistake.

iHunter, Airasia is easy business! Competitor is weak and make tons of (easier) money. Airasia X in much tougher business. If AAX can make money, they would have merge earlier....

The upcoming Jesselton Quay project is really fascinating. http://jesseltonquay.com/gallery/#prettyPhoto[portfolio]/1/ One would compare it with Sentosa as it has a hard rock hotel in planning (not sure what will happen if there is delay though), and skygarden like The Sands Singapore. The signboard already up, but sales office still renovating. I called the sales office number a few times but nobody pickup. Probably a few more weeks.....

USD:MYR crossed 3.62 already, more troubles for the economy. Export your way out of the problem, that's probably what the government should do also.

Sense maker, great analysis! 92 cents is a conservative estimate, you also notice there are other favourable factors which could push it up further. (There are at least three, based on what i have read in previous discussions) Even if it flies, many people may choose to hold because there are just too few safe choices around this time.

Q1 (ending 31 Dec) is the strongest. 13Q1 GP 49M - FX 8.6M - Admin 10M etc = around 30M. 14Q1 results coming out next month will be a lot better!! Assume the same GP + FX gain 20M - Admin etc, will be at least 60M. (double!) Management hinted they do a lot better and GP could be a lot higher.

Fundamentally Airasia is a very strong business, even compete at international level. The capacity cut of MAS alone will release a lot of value for Airasia, there are other positive developments going on like Rokki, etc. The oil drop just came in as an added surprise.

Crude Oil is dropping more. Even if Airasia flies, don't know to sell or not because there is no other safe stocks to invest beyond 2015....

Icon8888, you are really a smart ass.
And yet Mango2 raises another interesting question, how can Borneo Oil possess 191.28KG of inventory the end of April 15? The agreement starts from 11 March.
Let our mighty Icon8888 figure it out to avoid "diok"(just kidding, don't take it too serious).
They bought it, or inherit it or they fake the data, or they can produce so fast?
I would say is due to lousy reporting, you will notice inconsistent, typo, but seems consistent in the last few months.
