And of course, typical to many such deals, some officials in PMB who helped to "finance" this deal of CMY & Gang will charge some "football money". And that can be in the million ringgit. Another living Malaysia Boleh example!

This is a "one stone two birds" strategy ubiquitous to many takeover exercise. So, to let PMB make some interests over this "warehousing" period is actually a small price to pay by PMB & Gang.

CMY & Gang need PMB to take-out Robert Tan's block of 26.83% while they mopped up the market free float. What ever they collected from the open market plus this 26.83% is definitely more than 33.33%. So by allowing PMB to "carry" this 26.83% under PMB's name, they not only bought out Robert Tan, but at the same time dodging the MGO's rules.

Don't believe in the PMB story. They are a trust fund established under trust laws and are subject to stringent investment limitation, just like EPF. They are in for the interest earning part to 'warehouse' the 26.83% for CMY & Gang for a short term period. When Stage 2 is finally implemented, we will see PMB exiting PDZ and walk away with interests earned through financing the short term warehouse.

But be forewarned that typically in a CMY modus operandi, Stage 2 is always the most violent. When I said violent, I mean the shares price will leaps and bound beyond your sanity. This is the time we should buy Early, buy Big and be gung-ho.

Until then, which will then be the Stage 2, there is no point holding the shares for something neither you or me know when it will shoot up.

This stock will quiet down for some times from now on before CMY & Gang started making announcement of some sort of corporate exercise. And this takes time.

The extra large volume of shares traded in the open market is suspected to be part of this "white washing" exercise. This also explains why on certain days the volume just diminish without a clue, like today with only 52m shares traded.

The shares sold by Robert Tan is more than this 33.33% and this explain why the volume of PDZ was so huge over the past month or so with no major movement in price

Don't be deceived by the fact that Robert Tan only sold 26.83%. He has sold much more than this in the open market so that CMY & Gang can dodge the Mandatory General Offer rules of acquiring more than a third (33.33%) shares in a listed company.

Stage 1 completed. The 26.83% stake sold by Robert Tan is parked with Pelaburan Mara for a short term, while the CMY & Gang go and sapu the market free floats. By buying out Robert Tan, CMY & Gang will have one less problem to take care.

Like I have said, Stage 1 looks nearing the end already. And the news is out that Robert Tan sold. Expect the stock to go quiet for some time
