5148 was went down to RM0.2x. Only recently kena goreng to 0.8. Not sure what is the reason behind for the goreng, purely bcoz of Iskandar Malaysia (IM) and HSR/RTS, Johor development? Not sure what is their plan behind. But the vol sink already, today about 36mil shares traded (36/2 = 18mil only if assuming daytrades and market maker made that vol so that it looks active?)

The SBL transactions, let says 2% of the 5b shares, it would be more than 100mil shares which were lent out to the borrowers (who are they? i donno but what is the intention for lending out shares to some institutions? idk).

Oh, just notice this thread is about 1589, I already opt out this bb since May after its Para8.03A yet to settle, I will give it a missed after it shot up like nobody business from 0.4 to 0.8, it is kinda gila (rise without realize anything on their land or whatever, it is the big guys behind wanna push up bcoz of Johor devt only). My point of view on 1589 is this, it has less shares vs other GLC (5148/1651 and 8877), mkt float is less and million(s) shares is enough for them to play magic and make punters boi tahan and chase up. For me, I am out for this bb, until 24 Sep 2023 then see how it goes.

wssvin: I also not sure about what to say about it. It is purely my own decision not to board 1589 since May, so I missed huge profit from this bb, but no regret, and can't regret, give it a missed only.

And, botok 8877 is heavy and fat abit vs 1589, harder to push and bcoz of botak lim wanna to "private placement" so he purposely don't let the share price shot up (follow 1589).

If me, I will still wait for this bb until (after) 23 Sep 2023 then will make decision.

The "red" is seem scary. Daytrade and short seller trade and cover their positions on the same day, any chance of PUSHING UP is to let them to sell higher and then buy back lower.

Its landbank is still the biggest advantage if our govt is stable and Johor is able to continue to develop as its plan (RTS/HSR/and more)... (if talking abt landbank, 5148 is a better one,more landbank and got great potential, but 5148 Urusharta's SBL transactions, those few hundred million shares were lent out to borrowers, until now still haven't call back, so 5148 may still have SHOW ... for mid term and longer term, my 2cents. Btw, if those SBL shares r called back to return to the lender, then Urusharta will become > 5% sustantial shareholder again, out of sudden! Magic! Many ppl don't see those "sold" shares are SBL transactions!!! Those shares are still belong to Urusharta, they haven't sold it!)

Keep calm. Contra players, stay out. Daytraders and market makers are croc to chunk up vol and let go their shares and distribute to retail investors, they need retail to help to hold their shares. For LT investors, I guess they are very very calm when seeing it drops, no feeling I guess or sweating?
