I think is due to expectation. Some might expect PAT 100M. Some expect 150M and others might expect 200M. Also, this QR result will not be the best yet as Jan - Mar average oil price is lower than Apr & May. Furthermore, Annasuria critical component is not repair yet. Then only able tp produce 60 to 70%. That is why it somehow impact Hibiscus performance. If oil price continue at 100 till year end and 1usd =Rm4.4, hibiscus si beh ang ang ah. I will just do nothing. It will just get better and better.

I think super inflation is coming. News reported in June, most food will raise by another 60%. Keeping my hibiscus to hedge against the inflation. Any other stock in mind that can hedge against inflation. I know many says plantation. Can't blame the investor as they were sold the dream of revenue expanding regionally. If that indeed comes true, the revenue will multiply by 3 fold. Imagine the population in Vietnam and Cambodia but unfortunately the plan has been shelf. The money raise for that plan has been use to buy more EDC machine. Hence, you can kiss goodbye to the expansion plan. So, the story shift to digital banking and that did not materiliase as well.

Oil settling below $100 is a good thing. It prevents big company drilling more wells which will eventually cause oversupply. Oil price between 90 to 100 is good for Hibiscus already. No need to trust me. Trust the upcoming QR report.

Rather of spotting the low, l rather look into what else the business can offer? If there is no new product or market, then I too think it is expensive. If they can restart their expansion plan to Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, then there will be big potential. Local market is saturated. How many more CDC machine can there sell? Unless the machine have a short lifespan and need all need to be replace or upgraded. I doubt the rate will not be exponential as they 1st started.

Frieght charges are increasing on weekly basis. I know normally frieght charges are paid by client but recently heard many industry complaining that their buyer putting on hold their shipment due to high shipment cost. Will be interesting to see upcoming QR Tguan inventory and receivables. It both are high, then need to be extra cautious.

If oil remains above 80, repsol aquisition could be fully paid off before end of this year. Refer to Aminvest report. Repsol stop clock was on 1st Jan 2021. From then on, whatever earning will be belong to hibiscus. If i understand it correctly, the final price Hibiscus pay for repsol asset is RM 138.7 by deducting the cash generated over the 1 year period. Meaning Repsol generated $75 million on the average of $65/barrel. Now oil is above $80/barrel. If it stays at this level, no need 1 year, fully paid off this asset. If that the case, this is damm good investment by Hibiscus management. Kudos to Hibiscus management
