If ESSB cost is as competitive as their competitor, then the HRC mill should be a game changer for them because HTVB itself import HRC from China, Korea and Vietnam as the is no local produce. HTVB will get from ESSB help to incrrease ESSB's revenue while lower HTVB scaffolding production. Sounds like a win-win for both.

Minimum wages has minimum effect on them because most of their worker earn above RM1.7K.
Their largest export is to Turkey and turkey has just intoduce anti dumping on China steel product ranging from 15% to 45%.

I think Tguan is trying to streamline its business to get a better valuation. I guess most of F&B doesn't get a higher valuation and F&B is just a small portion of it. Looking at recent development, they are trying to copy what scientex it doing. Only Scientex get a higher valuation as property sector which is about 20x. BPplas & Tguan are in the lower 10x.

Today will continue to go up. Sifu OTB already says that if it closes above 3.14, it has already formed a temporary bottom. In fact, it already crossed Rm3.17 and close above it. It has formed a trend reversal, and closed at Rm3.20 which it much higher than 20 EMA. Have some confidence in Sifu TA analysis. Next destination is the RM 3.48 or the 70 SMA. Please have some faith.

I agree with Phoebe. The HRC mill will be key to Hiaptek success. If they can produce HRC locally, that will be a game changer. Currents China HRC future is equivalent to RM 2,400 but this is FOB China. Which means buyer pay for shipping which needs to be included into their selling price. Furthermore, it will takes 3 to 4 months with custom clearance.

I think is due to expectation. Some might expect PAT 100M. Some expect 150M and others might expect 200M. Also, this QR result will not be the best yet as Jan - Mar average oil price is lower than Apr & May. Furthermore, Annasuria critical component is not repair yet. Then only able tp produce 60 to 70%. That is why it somehow impact Hibiscus performance. If oil price continue at 100 till year end and 1usd =Rm4.4, hibiscus si beh ang ang ah. I will just do nothing. It will just get better and better.

I think super inflation is coming. News reported in June, most food will raise by another 60%. Keeping my hibiscus to hedge against the inflation. Any other stock in mind that can hedge against inflation. I know many says plantation. I'm not familiar with plantation especially with the labor issue, fertiliser, logistic cost and lastly most of them in Indonesia and not sure is Malaysian company operate in Indonesia also subject to the no exporting.

Can't blame the investor as they were sold the dream of revenue expanding regionally. If that indeed comes true, the revenue will multiply by 3 fold. Imagine the population in Vietnam and Cambodia but unfortunately the plan has been shelf. The money raise for that plan has been use to buy more EDC machine. Hence, you can kiss goodbye to the expansion plan. So, the story shift to digital banking and that did not materiliase as well.

Oil settling below $100 is a good thing. It prevents big company drilling more wells which will eventually cause oversupply. Oil price between 90 to 100 is good for Hibiscus already. No need to trust me. Trust the upcoming QR report.
