somehow it remind me the story of the boy who shout the wolf.....Shout 1st and 2nd time every body rush in........3rd time shouting the deal will be close but nobody beliv anymore. So it shall come then...:)

yeap, hopefully government make the adjustment. Worries is how is the oil adjustment mechanism work. If by 31st march/1st April, oil went back 50, will it mean not adjustment in petrol price? That is something to keep an eye on.

Thanks to hng for keep on supporting this shares and buying it up. I will continue to keep it as my purchase price is low. Hence, i will continue to keep it. If today lingger around 2.60, then it should be safe. Any news on this again or discussion will revive the price upward.

Possible further extension as selangor government is considering putrajaya request to extend for 1 more month and the propose date is 31st march. That what reported in the news.

Hi Roger, wht you are saying as if you didn't say anything at all. Who will not sell when price is up. It depends on individual target. Some people is comfortable with 10c profit. Some might target 50c profit. It depends on individual investment goal. I hold some puncak. With or without the deal, i'm comfortable to continue to hold it.

i'm hanging on to puncak. Whether deal is on or not, i guess price now is worth to invest. Can see that water business do make money. I know part of this Q gain is from revaluation but then water business is still the golden goose. If deal off, will be like rhb and back to 3+. If deal on, handsome dividend windfall. So i guess it is still a win win

Hi Kahheong, i guess so. It wasn't reported in detail but only say that it will be completed by 9th march. I guess the above provides more information. But here it say optismistic to be finalised. So there is a big gap in what i heard over the news. Maybe the news did say it hope to be completed rather than will. No ownder price drop instead of up. not a good sign then

Hi jafrul, as mentioned the water asset is golden goose for puncak. if really cancel deal, i doubt it will fall but instead it will go the other way. If i remember correctly, the stock price is at 3+ before the deal or dividend announced

it should be intepreted as when the year who hs no water element, whoever has been providing water will prosper becuase water become more valuable. Less water ma.....so who has stock of water....will make money :D

Like those rightly mentioned here. Where to get a busiess paying 40-50% margin? and they are in the business of living necessity.

next Q results should improve. The fuel price should improve the earning. There is someone mentioned fuel is not the only things in logistic. That is true but it has been factor in as cost previously. So with lower fuel price, it will improve the earning.

I work in office environment. I use to buy padini but Nowsday, i just buy suave. Cheaper and more selection. Maybe some will argue the material and feel will be different but to me colour will fade and hence need to change even though material long lasting. I think padini do losing out to competitor and with H&M and uniqlo growing, their market wil be diluted.

Puncak has been reporting great earning all tis while. PE around 6 and high NTA. With or without the deal, it is undervalue.

arreait and pavreit is falling back. I believed uoareits will follow. this is my personal view only. Hope it can continue to fly and benefit those holding it. I think i will sell my last batch if it reach 1.80 :)

seem like reits is having a bull run. I'm rebalancing my portfolio and taking opportunity of stronger reits pricing.

it is a water industry act 2006 where it gives federal or goverment to take over something by force if they deem as a treat to the country or something like that. Sorry if i did not intepret it correctly as i did not read thru the act. but the thing is puncak water asset it the most valuable and if it is call off and back to business as usual, it should worth more than now. So to me both scenario is still good for puncak.

seeing the price drop is indeed very disappointing due to the uncertainty of disposal. if we relook into the disposal plan and assuming the disposal plan fail, it is not that bad after all. Puncak use to trade around 3.50 previously when they are operate business as usual. Their eps is around 45 and this give a PE around 6. The revenue is growing from year to year. The only worries is if the plan fails, government take it by force under wasia act or something.
Puncak still consider undervalue and they have good business. Actually, it is more valuable if they keep the current business. Hence, to me either the plan go thru or not, it is worth to keep.
Anyway, this is my flawed opinion.

Yuan long, u r welcome. I accumulate alot at 1.40+ as i looking at the dividend. Good economy o bad ecconomy, tenant nd to pay rent as they are bind by contract. Sometimes ppl will argue if rent go increase, company can move. Plenty of office nowsday. Normally it is not that straight forward. Company has put in alot capex and it normally depreciate 7-10 yrs. Better to pay the increase than relocate. Reinstament is another huge cost. So die die also wil stay especially during bad times. To minimize capex. That wat my manegement is doing.

UOAreit dividend will continue to increase year after year and it is very stable. My company is a tenant in 1 of the building. We signed a 3+2 contract which 3 yrs end by June 2015. The landlord is allowed to increase 15% for the subsequent 2 yrs. Market price has increase 30% from the our origial rental. UOAreit is not afraid of no tenant as constantly tenants above our floor are asking what is our long term plan and do we intend to cut down on office size as they are interested to take up more space. Generally rental in klang valley increase 20-30%. If most of UOAreit tenancy contract end by this year, you can se a automatic increase in revenue by 15-20% in next year as new tenancy rate locked i.

good news indeed. Hope they will invest wisely on the balance windfall. If puncak venture into right business then it can be kept as long term. I mean i intend to do that.
