not really as wah seong has a very diversified business. I know palm oil price is low but yet they still making money in palm oil section by supplying some sort of machinery or hardware.

Again, exercise caution when trading. Promoter are everywhere and if someone tell you a stock is asia bershere and can go to Rm1 or RM10 but he only hold 30K unit. i share the same view but i wun relate drb same like MAS. Drb do have profitable business. POS, Banking are making money. Even automotive is making money until Proton was taken under drb. Just need to note that epf need to raise billion to payout for the 1st batch baby boomer. So there is a significant withdrawal from the share market. Sorry for my shallow knowledge but i did read the rich dad poor dad and he predicted a similar scenario that in 2013, there is a huge withdrawal of US 401K and hence cause stock market to plunge. I'm drawing the same parallel for epf.

i have slight higher holding than u hng and slightly higher price. I preparing to buy more as well but just not comfortable with epf keep on selling down. Epf still hold 8% of this stock. It might work for you as I know you do look into short term swing. I don't have the luxury time. All the best to you hng.

hi joile2, to be fair, hng has so far published facts. I don't think he has misled anyone. It is unfortunate that you lost money and I have too but can't blame him. I actually bought this b4 hng jump into this forum. We make our own choice in investing. The recent sell down as far as I know is all from epf constant disposing. I only found out that EPF is setting a new direction in investing their portfolio which so call invest in the ESG priciples stock, No sin stock on last staturday starbiz report. Also, they are selling to prepare to epf withdrawal next year. I guess the 1st batch baby boomer will start withdrawing next year which in billion as reported in one of the link shared. EPF not only selling on drb, they are unloading everywhere.
Anyway, investing is own decision. If we too lazy to do our own analysis, pls dun blame other ppl when losing when you just take their analysis and opinion for granted. Take care.

Epf is selling because of the new so called environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing principles. DRB is doing deference and that is not inline with the ESG principles. I guess that is why the continue to sell off. EPF still hold around 8%. Hope they stop the dumbass principles.

The Q results seems decent. Normally the year end/3Q will be a better Q. I believed Proton will be able to record a better profit because this is where ppl chaning car due to promotion. Proton already start promotion for all models and with new Iriz launched, hope it help the earning. I think the culprit is really epf as they keep on disposing. Epf has also accumulating POS Malaysia. Again year end should be a good for courier services. I consider buying more once epf selling subside.

tomorrow will know a'dy. keeping finger cross but looking at how epf disposing, somehow telling is won't be rosy.

this friday will be the D-day as the quarterly result release. if one anticipate bad results, it will continue to slide and should consider selling. If it is good result, it will rebound but i doubt it will go beyond 10-15%.

Dun be suprise the facebook share will vanishes by the magic hand thru some accounting method. hi lotus. I agree with you actually proton car is a much better car. Myvi suspension is just horrible. After 4 yrs, you feel like driving a lorry. Change absorber but still same. Ask mechanic, they say suspension so thin if compare to proton car.
I won't say proton car on top notch but just decent. The thing here is the mangement of proton. How much was spent just to develop a model? We are talking about efficiency and productivity here. They might be spending 500 million for 1 model but competitor is doing at 250mil? Also they are late in getting into the game.
