Philippines AirAsia work really bad last few years mainly due to the Zest Airway they bought 4 years back, which is a very unprofitable airlines using oldest aircrafts with unstable engine. Last year AirAsia finally finish the transformation of PAA, sold some of those old aircrafts and transfer our own aircrafts to Philippines. The result? You could try to take fuel consumed for every quarter divided by Total distance travelled for last 8 quarters, you will find the fuel consumption reduced by about 10%.

I may sound non-realistic, but PAA may earn about 800 million Peso (~80m ringgit) for Q1, which is traditionally a peak season.

How good is Philippines AirAsia perform?
Look at local dailou Cebu Pacific's op stats, they are conceding their original load and this year growth to PAA.

要維持1小時3000公里，基本上代表說需要應對地形的不同建設高架或挖掘隧道，這造價就完全無法justify了。
來個比對，中國的南水北調，主要是建築水壩和幾千公里長的水溝，那水溝也就是從陸面挖掘幾米深的水道，不管技術難度還是對應的電氣機械系統都遠比高架/隧道低。南水北調的花費是5000億人民幣。
這個所謂的真空管列車沒有花幾個10000億人民幣做得出來嗎？
而且這麼高速的鐵路基本上就只能走直線，一條最多給他從北京經過青島，上海，福建，廣州到香港。如果要服務完全部中國的一線城市，估計賣光全中國的財產和底褲都不夠。
再來，花了這麼多錢，票價多少呢？一張100萬嗎？就算能載完13億人都要一張384元，能比飛機便宜？

AAX will enter second phase of growth when brand new aircrafts type enter into service in 2018/19, so if they couldn't prove they could make it now, then no point invest in it.
