The ex R price at 0.86 will be at 75.4% of its book value. For a company that is still making profit despite having to make additional provisions for 2016 and 2017, I think subscribing for the rights should not be missed.

MBSB had once traded at p/b of more than 120% about a year ago. MBSB seems to be heavily oversold as of now.

Comparing MBSB with Mulpha is like comparing an elephant with an orange.

NB: the figues used are based on its fy2015 and Q1fy2016, with slight adjustment for some new shares it issued recently.

Q1fy16 results just out. EPS 2.43 sens. Not impressive at all. Current price supported by div of 8 sens for fy 2015. Current price level may not hold ex div.

Also, MHC only listed not too long ago. Why should they go public with so much cheap land?

KLK has thousands of acres between Ipoh and Batu Gajah. Part of which has been developed but the area is grossly overdeveloped and hundreds of houses and shops begging for buyers.

I am not too sure if now is the right time to go into reits. Property prices are falling due to oversupply and revaluation losses are to be expected. In addition, rental is at best flattish and not much earning growth in the medium term. Most reits are geared to about 50% and if interest rates are increased, earnings will be severely affected.

It started to fall after bursa's uma query, which is very stupid since every uma query comes back with same reply : not aware of any reason for sharp increase in volume/price. this conclusion is simple because if there are any known reasons they would have been announced by the company. Due to the reply, many begin to lock in gains.

The recent run up in ysp share price is due simply to the sharp increase in q1 2015 earnings over q1 2014 by some 70%. If q1 2015 performance can be sustained, ysp's eps for fy2015 will be in the region of 28 sens which translate into pe of 10 based on today's price, and yield of 5% if pay out ratio is 50%. Attractive!
