Amlex Holdings Berhad provides electronic packaging and interconnect solutions for the semiconductor and electronics industry worldwide. The company manufactures and sells lead frames, which are metal structures inside a chip package that carry signals from electrical terminals on the semiconductor surface to the circuitry on electrical devices and circuit boards. Its products include motion control sensor lead frames for printers and scanners; integrated circuit lead frames for computers and laptops; and optoelectronic lead frames for navigational products, LED display and lighting screens, and LED lighting products. The company also offers electronic packaging and interconnect components, such as optoelectronic sensors for use in remote controls of entertainment systems; metal cans for silicon microphones used in smartphones and tablets; and optoelectronics for automotive components, including headlight levelling and positioning sensors. It serves the semiconductor, imaging and navigation, automotive, medical, industrial and aerospace, consumer electronics/lighting industries. The company was founded in 2004 and is based in Simpang Ampat, Malaysia.

How to be entitled
To be entitled for any of the above, you need to purchase the shares one trading day before the ex-Date. You will not be entitled for the above if you purchase the shares on or after the ex-Date.

On ex-Date, the price will be adjusted to reflect the theoretical market price of the stock after the entitlement. You can sell the shares on / after ex-Date and still be entitled to the corporate exercise. The key is to purchase the shares before ex-Date.
