to turn around MAS, first cut its bloated workforce. Too many people in their payroll. They need to cut at least 1/3 their workforce to turnaround the company.

cut down big post managers and exercutive... that will for sure recover Mas.. no need too many bosses in 1 area which 1person can do the job..

CEO sucks! Funny no one notice how incompetent the CEO especially in front of media during MH370 tragedy! Union sucks big time! You know you have to downsize like 20 years ago! Lastly, let go of pride and ego! Bankruptcy is the only option! Postponing the obvious will only bring down nation pride to new low! We already have Airasia banging awards after awards to showcase the world!And risk free to Malaysia too, remember AirAsia will never ask for government bailout!

If one comb through the ac, even the years it made "profit" under the Maverick ( now minister turnaround; or turn not around) , MAS did not make gross or operating profit. Profit then was from non operating sources . Meaning the structural problems remains and never being changed. When a building has structure problem, it needs drastic remedies or just re-build it. Sometime it is easier to build a new building then try to repair a building with structure problem.
