nikomohd. Same as you, I had started buy in this silver since 2013. Even though we are suffering the paper loss now but I totally agreed with CAF-POW, it's good for hedging. I just a small buyer and every month I just use RM200 to buy in. For me, this investment is for at least 5-10 or more years.

When banks started offering these types of account for the general public, the peak is near. Yes, wait for 5 - 10 more years.

I have MBB silver investment account, i accumulating avearage 200g a month with two deposits (100g each), when the price drop or record low, i would top up more frequence. This is for my long term investment (retirement fund).

Gold price has dropped almost 30% from its peak.....It will rise again when next cycle of market crash.....if you are saving for retirement at least your saving will be protected. Property may crash, stocks price plummet, currency devalues .... so, gold will be the safe haven .... unless some genius can artificially create gold at cheaper cost?

But Maybank buy/sell spread is lousy......RM124 vs 129.36 (UOB is 126 vs 128.10).
