After this article was published in early July 2014, the price went up to a high of 55 cents and since then has dropped. Many people would have bought the stock which pushed the share to 55 cents and are now stuck with it. I don't want to be a pessimist but I just came back from JB and saw there is an oversupply. I think the price has more downward potential before it can go up to 50 cents.

Hi guys,

Precisely because Mulpha share price has crashed further that it is now even a far better buy than last time!

Tell you what?

I called for a buy on KPS at 50 cents. When KPS crashed to its historic low of 39 cents I still call for a buy in 2006. Next year in 2007 KPS jumped to Rm3.94 (Up 1,000%) And when KPS crossed Rm1.00 I already stopped issuing buy call.

I bought UMW at Rm2.40 in year 2004. UMW later went on to become a blue chip over Rm10.00. Did you ever see me promote UMW in i3 Forum all these 2 years? Never!
Calvin though very happy with UMW he never ask people to chase high flying shares.

On December 15 to 17 2014 I called for a Strong Buy on Jaks at 39 cents.

After Jak jumped over Rm1.20 (Up 200%) I never tell people to chase.

This is the proven time tested method of Calvin

1) BUY UNDERVALUE SHARES WITH DISCOUNT TO NTA

2) If After Buying Do a Thorough Study. If convinced and assured that everything is alright and solid fundamental intact. Do not be afraid to buy some more.

See I bought Pm Corp at 25 cents, then 20 cents, 15 cents, 10 cents.
When Pm Corp broke the 10 cents support everybody turned fearful and panic.

Calvin the lion heart (haha! chicken heart actually) with trembling hands, took up the phone and told my stock broker (with trembling voice) to buy more Pm Corp at 9 cents, then 8 cents and finally at the Rock Bottom Price of only 7.5 cents for Pm Corp! Buy Pm Corp at 25 cents? Dare to buy Pm Corp at 7.5 cents? Ha! My Stock broker thought I gone mad already!

Yes! I was mad. Very correct! Mad if I didn't buy!

Tell you what?

If I dare to buy Mulpha at 49 cents it is really a no brainer for me to buy more at 25 cents to 26 cents.

That bullet train still on paper ( 5 years). Prop still weak ,(3 to 5 years). balance sheet look anaemic. The price may stagnate for 3 to 5. Unless Iskandar booming > 12% annually. .for the nx five years... I. Will jump in when price above 200sma

Somchik,

By then when everything is so sure and certain like Perak Corp after price crossed Rm3.60 many people jumped in.

Why not buy Perak Corp at 60 cents. Why pay Rm3.60 later?

Same for Mulpha at 26 cents. I am not surprised you will be among those who jump into Mulpha above Rm1.50 some day in the future.

Jail term 'will not affect company'
By Kate Askew

The family of Malaysian businessman Lee Ming Tee is adamant that his public company interests will not be affected by his impending Hong Kong jail sentence.

"My father retired a long time ago and he is not involved in any of the company's affairs," his son Lee Seng Huang told the Herald last night.

Mr Lee pleaded guilty to fraud charges relating to a share placement worth $HK673 million ($114.3 million) and was sentenced late last week to two one-year jail terms to be served concurrently.

His co-accused, former financial officer Ronald Tse Chu-fai, was luckier, receiving a suspended sentence after entering a guilty plea last year.

The running of Lee's family company Mulpha International, which is listed on the Malaysian stock exchange, was taken over by Mr Lee jnr after the onset of criminal charges six years ago. He abandoned his studies at the University of Sydney to assume management of Mulpha, which he now runs from its Sydney city office in Market Street.

Mulpha's Malaysian website makes it clear that no current directors of Mulpha have been the subject of any criminal charges.

Mulpha has been on an expansionary drive in Australia in recent years. It bought the Sanctuary Cove resort in Queensland for $208 million in 2002 and earlier this year spent double that buying the Principal Financial Group's hotel assets including Sydney's Intercontinental and Hayman Island.

Lee, a sharemarket raider in Australia during the 1980s, is in a central jail facility in Hong Kong, waiting to be moved to the jail in which he will serve out his term. Taking into account good behaviour, he is expected to be jailed for eight months.

"We are satisfied that the offences he has admitted and the facts he has accepted adequately reflect the criminality which was alleged against Mr Lee," Hong Kong's director of public prosecutions Grenville Cross said in a news report on the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region's website.

"In light of Mr Lee's preparedness to plead guilty to two of the offences he faced, there was no longer any public interest to be served in pursuing this prosecution. The trial judge's endorsement of the course adopted by the prosecution in the acceptance of the pleas is welcomed."

Certainly the Lee family's financial standing does not appear to have been affected by the drawn-out court cases - the family's wealth is estimated at about $5 billion.

Good morning Supermix2,

If you buy 2 lots mulpha you are entitled to one rights。 You can do either of these 3.
Pay 25 cents to convert to one mulpha SHARE . or sell THE rights to others or just let IT lapse

What would be the indicative market price of Mulpha once the rights shares are listed?
