try using apps for Android/IOS eg.... KLSE Screener, iBursa2, Investing.com, i3 on your mobile so you can keep track by your side anytime, anywhere.

At least you get first hand information.......i am part time with secured job like you too.

It do helps......

it doesn't matter you're C-Level or whatever level...............as long as you're discipline and can do your works efficiently it doesn't stop you from involving in the markets.

Discipline is the key words.

Treat your career advancement as the 1st career priority.
Once you have the increased wages, then plan to invest.

There is no point getting 3k salary, and save RM 500 per month , and hope for a 40% return per year, and ended up screwing your own performance and salary.

1. The point is getting a high salary,
2. part a good fortune in secured fund,
3. and when you feel comfortable of the "moat" (example, can sustain you for 6 month without working) ,then start invest in market.

Ohhhh my respected Tuan TJ also here???
Geng ohh... Got ppl win 9 out of 10.

I also win 9 but out of 100..... Only few percent achievement Nia....

Posted by Hiu Chee Keong > 2016-04-30 23:27 | Report Abuse

Tjhldg, yes i did win 9'out of 10, but i only take profit about 10% for each trade, and most of the time, 50% is in cash, and i dont trade everyday, i hold for sometimes, so overall still just about 11% growth, not much meat like the pro here.

DuitKWSPkita, yes i did win 9 out of 10, my new account just opened last june. I have no problem show your guys my full buy sell trading statement with every buy sell details. in fact, bcos my lost is so few, i can remember each of them, and mostly bcos entry mistake like i said in orevious posts before, like astro, astro-ct, rgb., but for the win, too many, can't remeber it
Want to bet ? Just a starbuck cofee will do. Full real trading account with every trade details with real money, nit just play-play.

Speakup, my account about 70k, so far about 8k gain in 10 months (not included dividend i get yet)i open this new account last june. but i think last week's market crash will decrease my account about 1k+-. But that is good news for me, an oppurtuniity for me to add in more while market in bargain. And i have money in fix deposit as well, so this trading account is purely for trading only, no pressure no stress.

it is simple. In the market you can either have information advantage, analytical advantage or psychological edge. If you cant get information faster than others then ure at a disadvantage as a trader. You probably have to improve it or consider improving your analysis or use psychologically, sit there and do nothing. And I find most people dont have psychological edge, partly because they read so much news and get influence by opinions.

Mbmr 2.05, astro 2.70, skpetro 1.55, genm 4.00, chinwell 1.55, bjtoto 2.95, wthorse 2.08, bjfood 1.80, ecoworld 1.20, hohup 0.80, malton 0.66 , ambank 4.30, sunway 3.00, ltkm 1.40, eatech 1.05, cimbc 1.05, ranhil 1.00 ........all is way below market price and has good fundamental, and my price will keep going down when market going down.

In uptrend primary market, i'm not surprised many traders r achieving perfect score. Once the music ceased n the bear crashing the bull mercilessly, the greedy perfect scorers (without any trading strategies)who ramp up their capital for greater gains will take the plunge head-on n get white-washed to wake up from their dreams.

Posted by Hiu Chee Keong > 2016-05-01 12:52 | Report Abuse

Pui Che Hong, no need to wait for 1550, i use this strategic all the time, and when panic selling happen like last week, some of my low price queue will hit, then when market calm back, it will back to normal price. And i queue very early in morning, when the panic selling most active. Bcos people dont behave rationally when in panic selling. you will be surpised how irrational a price could be, For example, even big cap like MSM, i get it at 0.2 below market price at first trade, then immedistely second trade it back the normal price. the key here is, gueue strong fundamental stocks at low pricd when panic selling happen, dont simply pick rubbish stock or take those hot stock that already at high price. that so far work for me.

Posted by Hiu Chee Keong > 2016-05-01 13:34 | Report Abuse

Kheng, i actually like down trend market, so i can buy at super cheap, and plenty of time to buy, no hurry, since i have holding power of 5 years, a down market give me more opportunity. I have been through economy down few times, so not a big deal. I have hold share from rm1 to rm10 in just few years like Takaful, and have also hold shares from RM1 to RM0.10 like rubbish talam, learn a lot from experience, and even leant more from others experience like her in the forum posts.
Just a look at the price you know, you really pro, the novice will have no,idea what it means.

Do I trade? Yes. I buy and sell everyday. But that only constitute 1% of my net worth.
Trading in share market is just my pass time to polish my skill from time to time.
買股是為了增加生活情趣, 小賭怡情, 大賭傷身.

You should try harder to earn more rather than wasting your time 'trading' with your 70k account.

Curious2, i use Hong Leong Bank, since i trade with their mobile app, so i can enter as many trades as i like as long as i have enough cash, and i can enter way below market price without need to worry the broker scold me for play-play. When BSKL was below 1600 last year, i even have 50+ queue in a day. but the drawback is that if i enter the wrong price, no broker will warn me for the mistake. as for how much money it need, it depends, if not enough cash in account, i can always direct transfer in with online banking and inform them, they will update it immediately.
I have another account with Hwang which on T3+1, and i would not do this on that account, bcos i might get too carry away and queue more than i afford to, if all hit at the sametime, then i might be in big trouble. So i prefer play with cash with HOng Leong Bank.

ks55 has a very valid point. no need to feel offended so fast. old men can give u good advice.

70k to trade is honestly not a lot. tho it is still money and also can make you money.

i invest much more than that a few hundred k...but i dun trade short term only do long term. few hundred k is also not a lot. i know some trade in at least a mil. lol

my advice is to listen n read lots of info if u want to be a successful trader...especially TA. traders like TA can go in fast n out

cheers

Ks55, dont jump to your own conclusion base on your imagination, 70k just one of my investment account with Hong Leong. and who tell you i am not financial independent ? I choice to still work bcos i like to, not bcos i have to or need to, i can quit anytime i want, i have enough money for the rest of my life and can retire and enjoy life. Playing BSKL just one of my part time hobby. And i dont cares about your son's earning or whatever his level, that's your business.

---ks55, you have problem in understand my simole post ? I said i am a part time trader and i want to know how other get their first hand information from, and being part time trader that has job, i cant check it during office hours, that's the disadvantage. So in your mind, everyone with jobs is not worth like you ? Everyone with job is not financial independent ? Dont you know that there are many like me who choice to work bcos we like it, like our colleageus, like our clients, like our job, not bcos i have to or need to work for salary. So, dont jump to conclusion that just bcos someone has a job, it means there are any less worth than you.
