GUNUNG (7676)
Chart Analysis
GUNUNG has been trading above its upward sloping 20-Day Moving Average which is a good sign. Furthermore, the next resistance level is quite far at 0.49.

as i mentioned in my previous post Gunung and Ekovest look similar but they r not twin. Gunung surge to 0.50 then came down to 0.435...Gunung bottom likely to be below 0.37...anything below this px is gd to consider. The low could be well below 0.37 as market is about to enter the final phase of major correction. I have no doubt 1st half of 2017 is killing time.

please do not mislead investors.gunung's mini hydro plant had capacity 14MW ONLY,not 140MW claimed by the author,so the potential revenue contribution was RM14-16m per year at most, not RM150m.

Gunung Hydropower Sdn Bhd, a 70% subsidiary of Gunung Capital is in the business of building and operating mini-hydro power plants. The renewable energy sector has become more commercially viable due to the Renewable Energy Act 2011. Driven by the prospect of stable and continuous income stream for a period of 21 years, Gunung Hydropower has entered into a JV agreement with Perak Hydro Renewable Energy Corp Sdn Bhd (PHREC) in 2012 to develop two mini hydro power plants, with 20MW combined installed capacity, in Perak. In 2013, Gunung Capital decided to acquire 85% stake in Pusaka Hijau Sdn Bhd, which in turn owns 60% of PHREC, in order to strengthen its presence in the mini-hydro power generation industry. PHREC is given the mandate to act as the master developer for all mini-hydro projects in Perak, a total of 25 sites with and estimated combined installed capacity of 176MW.

thanks for the information wecan2088,but to be fair, establish a 10-15MW hydro plant normally take at less 2 year.even thought gunung can build 2 plant in every 2 year,it will take at less 15 year to build up all the hydro plant.

so,gunung can only and possibly obtain RM150m of annual revenue from hydro plant business after 15 year, never be 2017,not to said their still need to make sure all 31 pre-approval sites(25+6) is fully build up,obtain permit from EC and TENAGA.

after acquire Pusaka Hijau in 2013,gunung only sucessfully build up 14MW of capacity unti today, this shows that build up a 10-15MW hydro plant is not a easy job,so when do you think gunung are able to build up all the 31 hydro plant?
