agreed on compound effect. not so much on job vs. investment. to me both are investments, it shapes your personality and attitude, and i believed those have some force to the investment outcome.
Although the math calculation above is rather simple, but the idea for a person to learn stock investment while building career can beat a person who only focus on his/her career is very very true. The difference can be clearly seen in later part of their life. I strongly believe the financial position of the former person can beat the latter one.
build ur career, after 10 yrs promoted to become director, income 30k/month. saving/month = 20k
How to compare ?
stock investment can only be rich when u compound others money to invest or ur parents got millions for u to invest.
else for a normal worker with low pay hardly can be rich
