why never asked if the agreement is honourable in the first place with lopsided benefits to SG instead of MY?

Well. He complained about having to drive few hours to reach Malaysia. He could take a flight and reach Malaysia easily in less than 1 hour, depending on location. So stop complaining about taking 90 minutes via HSR to come into Malaysia. And possibly cheaper to fly also if he plans ahead of time and purchase his air ticket in advance. Our government weighed through costs versus benefits analysis and reached a constructive decision to stop HSR project. It was not an impromptu decision. If such agreement brings more harm to Malaysia, why proceed? Like one of the commentator highlighted, Malaysia has to bear 90% of the project cost while Singapore only bears 10%. This is simply not a fair deal. And one more thing. Stop lecturing on Malaysian about honouring an agreement.

Singaporean writer: Malaysia doesn’t understand the honour of agreements
Malaysian citizen : Singapore doesn't understand the concept of win-win deal

This post is misleading because nowhere in the article in the SCMP did the Singapore writer accuse Malaysia of 'lacking the "ancient Chinese's" appreciation of honour'. The quoted comment is clearly unjustified.
No result.

this Singaporean writer can take Air Asia low cost flight if he wants to get to KL fast. Or SIA if he is kiasu enough. Other option available to him....services offered by KTM via double tracks. Learn the lesson from 2nd crossing to Tuas. Singapore just built 3 piers to reach Tuas while PLUS "vomitted" money to give them access to highway. (Remember, Malaysia is in debt to the tune of 1 Trillion and it is a good decision to abolish HSR) . What a selfish neighbour.
