On 6/2/2018, HongLeong met with Lay Hong in a small group meeting.

They wrote the following in the report after the meeting:

Very important question i think everyone is still missing out.

How is the product, how does it taste, how does it compare relative to the market? Whats the value proposition. Does it work in tandem with consumer behavior, or at least your understanding of it?

This is key, buying layhong without understanding or eating the processed food, is like buying restaurant without eating a meal. Haha

haha, Jon, to be frank with you, I am a vegetarian, so I can't answer your question.

What I have observed in the supermarket are their market strategies in packaging & branding their products, like functional eggs, air-chilled chicken, premium processed fried foods.

And I think they are doing well in that direction.

For the utilisation of the new capacity, the company has mentioned that it is more for export market. This part has to rely on the expertise from Japan NH Foods in marketing new halal products to muslim countries or markets.

The only bit of research lacking for me, even my own.

Is i have not ate it. And being a bachelor, i have very wide experience in eating processed food hahahaha.

I cant really find it in JB, when i'm back to KL, i plan to buy one of each and go talk to promoters and aunties on the product.

I tried the japan premium nutriplus chicken karage last week... juicy fried chicken thigh... selling RM7+ in small pack in 99speedmart... have a try and you will see the potential... I went to Aeon Big and check also, can't find any other similar competitors offering similar premium product... i see the potential in this niche premium processed food market from layhong.

Sometimes in order to win big,
Second level thinking is the key.

LayHong offer greater investing value given its explosive growth ahead .
Thus , dont think just buy while it still traded at Jump Cliff price.
