we have not fully benefited from rising energy in the past 2 years due to lower upstream investment by petronas causing many vendors are dying with no jobs. Petronas start ramp up production again when energy price start weakening again. do you see why oil revenue falling? wakaka

Time is ripe to create another operator to break petronas monopoly to ramp up declining production, hence revenue to govt. When oil at usd120/ BBL, govt. draw myr80billion from petronas. Thus, oil still have major impact on our economy. Petronas focus on downstream last few years causing declining production, miss out the upcycle.
