Government says got no money and yet invest a lot of money in flying cars. Basically Mahathir is trying very hard to push the Malays to leaf frog other race and religion. First of all, any policies that put religion and race as the driving force behind any project will eventually lead to failure.

Mahathir's imagination:- IF Malays can come out with flying car, it would show the world that the Malays are the most advance muslim race and can compete with koreans, Japanese, EUropeans and Americans. His dream is a fallacy by itself as it is race and religion driven.
