Recently alot lapsap stocks non-stop pumping. Yongtai is the latest. Alot of unlicensed sifus with a group of paid members behind all these scam.

Millions lost their fortunes then

6 MILLONS were jobless

no money, no job and no home

many roadside stalls sprung up selling apples

and long queue at free soup lines opened by charitable organization

This madness also happened in 1993 bull run during the gogo years before the Asian Financial Crisis

I got 3 friends who made easy money punting stocks even though they know next to nothing about share investment

Mr N from B Pahat made Rm500k to Rm1 million due to "pure luck" but overstayed and lost his Rm5 million firturne eventually

He borrowed from loan sharks and lost all till he ran away to escape at Thai border

smuggling rice from Thailand and smuggling petrol into Thailand so sad an ending

I see many many fools this round

Another one is Mr Ho Choy of SP Motor (Sri Petaling Motor )

He showed us his newly renovated 1st floor shop office

All new furniture costing Rm50,000

he boasted all "free" because he made easy money from stock market

He called TA warrant as TA white

He could not even pronounce TA warrant and called it TA "white "

in the end Ho Choy lost all that he made and even lost Rm3 millions in total

At that time SP Motor has Hq in Sri Petaling and branches in Puchong

All together he had 9 SP Motor service center outlets employing 9 managers with staff of 70 workers

All gone in a pull of smoke as Klse collapsed and Ho Choy gone bankrupt and chased by loan sharks

I asked him why not just retire when you got Rm3 millions

He said he thought of letting SP Motor go public listing one day

If only he did not chase hot balloon stocks of those days just like people chasing hot balloon stocks today

Another one is from Subang Jaya

This guy called Mark made easy money gambling in casino type of stocks and made Rm800,000

Having earned easy money sitting in aircon comfort why work so hard under hot sun?

Those were the gogo years of the 1990s

He overstayed the market and continued to play and punt from stock to stock

After many months he eventually lost all his Rm800,000 paper profit

Then he also began to lose his capital of Rm1.2 millions

So he made easy money of Rm800k in the beginning but lost back Rm2 millions later

still in Net loss of Rm1.2 millions

Better not make money from gambling addiction

There is really a thin line between serious hard earned money from careful investing and "easy" money chasing hot air balloon stocks

The former will last because money gained from knowing and buying value long term

The latter which is pure chance and "luck" seldom last

The killing addiction to rampant RISK TAKING eventually catch up and kill the speculators of lapsap
