Nothing is FREE in SINGAPORE. Probabily you have to PAY BOTH Car Parking and Charging FEES ( At Premium Rates if in Central Area ) . PAP ---Singapore Govn Party = " Pay And Pay ". So to ATTRACT RICH people.

Of course lah. Singapore is like a mustard seed in geography size. It has no natural resources. This is the only way they generate revenue.

But some multiple resource rich nation like our neighbour cannot prosper at all because of their politicians. The people suffer with high cost due to pirate like service and monopolies.
