Only if KPMG was a new auditor for Serbad for the first year and catching the disputed issues, your hypothesis makes sense.
As KPMG has been the auditor since 2013, meaning the best case is dog eats dog bone story between the company and KPMG.

a company can do well b4 turning bad later on, not necessarily from start. Accounts maybe gud in 2013, but low oil price 4 many yrs & negative oil price in 2020, make dog jump over d wall.
