Government jobs are tax, and new tax. More tax to spend for expensive expenditures. No tax more, Government sure die standing. So how? Must tax harder to solve government debts.

currently,

anything above RM2500(RM3000 for east malaysia) per tonnes will be taxed 5% windafll tax.

but under new structure,only above RM3000(RM3500 for east malaysia) will be taxed 3% windfall tax.

which is better?

Windfall tax already expected! Anyway, price of palm oil is really mind boggling! I doubt with increase in windfall tax will dent palm owners profit! It's like living in dreamworld for palm ownders nowadays! So chill, it's really nothing!
Of course government of the day will skin every avenue to increase revenue! So i am not surprise if GST will make a comeback!
I hope Harapan lawmakers will not go around playing with anti GST again! Reduce can but don't go and reject this efficient way of increasing revenue! Instead Harapan leaders should focus on corruption! Then again, i am naive to think Harapan leaders are saints!
