I don't even remember what I commented on gpacket, but I never do long term investment. it was in 2020 the mini bull market, now market is in bearish year by year and you dont cut loss and hold it till now!?
I'm purely on short term and speculation trading. and my comments here are either analytical, based on facts, no hanky panky inducing people to buy, or it's just an intention to make fun. do you really think people will take action to buy merely based on my small little comment here? and hold it forever?

As to cutloss ?

When we buy a stock we are actually investing a real business providing real goods or useful services to mankind

Think like this

Cutting loss in stocks equate getting out of owning shares of companies

If we do it in real life it also mean business bad and therefore close all down??

If no taxi or grab or bus or train or airport all closed ?

Then all without cars will have to walk

What if business bad all petrol stations closed and cutloss?

Then all transport will come to a standstill

What about food?
If business bad closed all restaurants, mamak, 7 Eleven, Kfc, supermarkets?

What are we going to buy and eat?

Just think how absurd

And people in the stock market cannot think rationallly

Your point of view is investing. My point of view is trading. We buy stock because the company has news, technical strength, momentum and believe that the stock price will go up in short term due to these facts. We see there's opportunity to go up in short term, so we buy. If we don't trade, you won't find undervalue stock for your investment. Cut loss provide you to buy back at lower price if you think it will go down further.
Even when investing, you see the prospect doesn't aligned with what you are expecting, you have to cut loss also
Gpacket RM1 now become 3.5 sen, if you cut loss at 50 sen and buy back at 3.5 sen, you lose lesser, your capital is preserved by half.

You were a strong supporter of that company, with your usual endless "reports" on how well the company's future was. In fact, you even went to the extent of visiting the company and talking to the main players (apparently) which led to you being even more convinced it was a strong company.

Remember when it fell to 68 cents? Remember how you stated that you were buying. and topping up at these incredibly low prices? Remember telling others to buy at 68 cents? Remember how you denigrated other reputable RE companies in your lame promotional bile? I do, very, very clearly!!

Take a good hard look at yourself. Frankly, I think you are a disgrace, acting under a veil of religious deceit in the hope that you are seen as cleansed and a good man.

Peter Lynch used to say buy a basket of 10 different value stocks

even if 2 or 3 goes bankrupt still ok if one can be a 10 baggars

maximum loss in one stock is 100%

maximum gain? no limit

some can up 200%, 300% or 1,000% and even more

so go study all stocks picked
