The big failure of the PH/BN government is the inability to listen to the next generation leaders like Syed Siddeq, KJ, Rafizi.......................I see that as their biggest failure. They cannot make use of young ideas and share power with the young will be a big problem.

with DAP on one side, PN on the other side, what would UMNO messaging be? what would UNMO message be? would UMNO message be more malay than PN? more malay than Bersatu? than PAS? there is no clear message as PAS/ Bersatu has succeeded in taking that message. so what can UMNO message be? that is where the danger lies

They dont need marketing guru. Just get out of this Unity Government. Join the larger Malay community PN. UMNO now on the crossroad to decide right or center. Unity government need UMNO to ensure they capture back Malay vote as PH practically cannot do it since forever. However if UMNO stay it will destroy UMNO even more. As it own grassroots will never support them and Malay as mass will never support them. The only logical thing now for UMNO is to get out of Unity government, make electoral pack with PN to save it remaining strong hold in JOHOR, N9, MELAKA, PAHANG,PERAK . This is the only choice UMNO have. Even with Zahid step down would not help UMNO if they still in Unity government, UMNO have to do the right things. Break from Unity Government will not bring PMX down as he still have GPS, GRS and warisan support. PMX will only loss two third majority. Thats all.

for the benefit of all, both PKR and UMNO better find better massaging. PH's madani is not sufficient and UMNO's silence is not a winning strategy.

During the Refomasi days, Anwar's call for reformasi, anti corruption , assistance based on needs and other messaging borrowed from DAP served their needs during Reformasi but not as government. PKR needs new messaging.

PKR messages needs to include win win, mutual respects for all, no one will be left behind, building a salad bowl of different tribes where every tribe will be respected, rights protected , Royals, Rukun Negara and the Constitution will be protected and respected.

UMNO too will need new messaging and this includes the above plus UMNO's pledge to protect the Malays. The PH UMNO combo will need to show they are in favor of the middle way and aim for the political center but not scaring the Malays.

Let me put it this way! If Tok Mat helm Umno and Johari Ghani becomes his side kick, Umno would rejuvate once again! Bring back Khairy and Umno rejuvenation would be achieved!
The only problem with Umno is Zahid Hamidi! Zahid has turned Umno into his fortress! Those who went against him are now totally purged!
After this state erections, it's pretty clear Umno is no longer needed by PN! PN can wallop all malay seats! Umno voters have already switch to Pas! This is the hard truth! Unless a new credible president steps in, Umno is now a dead party!
N Sembilan Umno voters made it clear! They want Tok Mat! If Zahid continue to ignore this warning sign then Umno leaders must face the next state erections of Melaka, Pahang, Perak and Johor and see repeat of total wipeout!
It now or never for current Umno leaders to take action! Get rid of Zahid! If succeed, work with PH to face GE16! Because PHBN is the only option for Umno to remain relevant!
The thing is, Zahid was the one that implanted anti Dap rhetorics! And to tell Umno voters to vote for Dap is total insult for them! Tok Mat never said bad things about Dap! So the right 'marketing guru' for Umno is Tok Mat! He can convince dwindling Umno voters that Dap is crucial partner in ensuring malay interest are protected! Anwar already done his part by sidelining the Lims! Zahid cannot do the job as his Umno members have deep trust issue with him!
It's not just because of Zahid corruption charges rather his flip flop over major issues! Today no Dap, tomorrow love Dap! Today no Anwar, tomrrow, help Anwar! Zahid can't do that! He was the one that implanted all this nonsense in the first place!

And to say Khairy will join Bersatu need further investigation! As Mohiden backstabed Badawi before! Khairy does not have interest to join Bersatu because of the bad blood between his father in law and Mohiden! And Khairy knows Mohiden will backstab him the moment he is not needed!
I believe if Tok Mat becomes president of Umno, Khairy will be the first to be recruited back!
And bare in mind, Khairy has very close relation with Rafizi! So Khairy would rather let Umno stay with PH that to cross over to PN!
But Hisham definately need to be booted out from Umno! Its better for Hisham to join Beraatu!

The point is PHBN is the way to go! But Umno definately need new leader! To purge Zahid is better than to see Umno totally buried come GE16! It's up to all Umno leaders to realise this fact! If they want Umno to remain relevant, they Zahid needs to be purged!

Zahid was the political secretary of Anwar and still is. As long as Zahid is useful, he still has his get out of jail free card.

And as long as Anwar as the support Sarawak and sabah, it will not be a complete disaster for PH even if UMNO is completely and totally destroyed. and isn't that the dream of Anwar ever since Reformasi is formed. ?

Actually both PH & BN did not manage to arrest the green wave conservative narrative loh!

The election shows 50% support the unity Govt & 50% support PN loh!

This is a nice position to work on loh.....as Anwar still have more than 4 yrs to tackle the issue loh!

Just simply throwing money to jakim, tahfiz and mosques will not help loh....bcos PAS is entrenched in their islamic narratives mah!

Thus should start with the islamic madani concept instead.....make it a concept for all islamic education from schools, university, madrasah and all muslim teachers must know it, bcos this is a very progressive islamic concept that islamic world had achieve incredible success over 400 yrs in fact has become super power during this era loh!

"History of Madani & its Success " should be proud of by all muslim in the world loh!

During this period the muslim had gain so much success where it became a world super power and its religion spread all over the world and in fact many people wanted to be muslim, bcos they like & trust this madani progressive islamic government loh!

And Anwar rightfully adopted this " Madani concept" but the govt must educate its Ummah! l

Coming back to Anwar.....he is actually not popular with the conservative malays....he manage only to pull about 20% to 30% malay support loh!

He should start working on his unpopularity among the malays loh....start with the low hanging fruits " Permatang Puah".......win back his fortress loh!
