While it has yet to see the earnings contribution from the new business, the counter surged 1,229% to 46.5 sen as at Oct 19, against its March 18 closing of 3.5 sen. The company's market capitalisation multiplied to RM169.28 million from RM10.92 million during the period.

Parlo Bhd is to raise RM25.84 million via a private placement of 72.8 million shares (20% of its total issued shares) to third party investors. Some RM12 million of the proceeds will be used to invest in its migrant workforce-related services business. Another RM7.06 million will be used to repay bank borrowing, and RM5.93 million for working capital.

Since there is a private placement exercise - I trust the cost per share is approx .35cents there about. So only logical the share price will fall to about 35-40c or even lower.
