On 6 August 2019, Metronic Engineering Sdn Bhd (“MESB”) (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company) had entered into a joint venture agreement (“JVA”) with Zhuhai Singyes New Materials Technology Co Ltd (“Singyes”) (a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Singyes New Materials Holdings Limited) for the collaboration to develop smart city solutions in Malaysia by way of:-

(a) developing a smart land transportation system, solar panel system, outdoor or indoor
smart digital signage, smart film and smart glass and camera system;

(c) setting up an advance data center to collect big data from smart city. These data set
will be used for data analysis in township planning, developing and monitoring purposes;

(d) cooperate in terms of infrastructure, new green materials technology, development,
technical knowledge exchange, planning, implementation, upgrading, support and maintenance;

(e) setup a prototype smart city model in major cities in Malaysia; and

(f) to market smart cities solutions across Malaysia.
