Looks very cheap to enter now, but can it be cheaper? Loss making company seriously need a turn around point. The REV is a good stuff, wondering if Cuscapi can develop this into a bigger version as a self ordering screen like how McDonald in Hong Kong doing now. If yes, perhaps its another add on point to them since their current customer are KFC, StarBucks, Nandos bla bla bla.

I went to kfc, got cuscapi device, but nvr use. The cashier tell me cuscapi never come to repair and service. Service no good

yes, but the screen is broken , it just put there as display and no ppl servicing, the casheir just say call the company and never come. why u never notice the McD point of sell is better compare to kfc.. more advance. Mcd nvr use cuscapi product.... go do some research before buying.

I m not interested on the current POS by Cuscapi but I m thinking if their current end user will upgrade to the latest REV. If yes, then it's an add on point to this dying company beside deploying to just Ajisen China.

（吉隆坡9日讯）客凯易（CUSCAPI,0051,主板科技组）已做好准备迎接中国电子支付系统进驻大马，并放眼今年收购大马零售业，以提振营业额成长。

引进中国营运经验及科技该公司首席执行员余曹祥在股东大会后表示，大马设立数字自由贸易区（DFTZ）及中国旅客不断增多，因此，公司将把在中国营运业务的经验及科技引进大马。

客凯易核心业务为餐饮业者提供业务解决方案，中国客户来自连锁餐厅，大马客户包括麦当劳、肯德基、必胜客等等。

余曹祥补充，只要中国电子支付业者如支付宝或微信支付开通在大马支付的功能，那么公司在大马所有的餐饮客户使用的结账机器亦能支援中国的电子支付系统，惟该功能需待中国批准后，才可运用。

针对收购计划，余曹祥已经物色大马一家零售业，准备今年内进行收购，不过，目前尚未洽谈收购价。

有关研发费用，余曹祥说，公司今年只打算进行系统升级工作及推出新产品，因此今年这方面的开销将比去年来得少。

“2016年的研发费用为600万令吉。”

2016财政年，客凯易税后亏损从2450万4000令吉恶化至3821万5000令吉。

余曹祥坦言，尽管公司面对亏损，但短期内的目标并非是转亏为盈，更重要的目标是提高营业额及巩固市占率。

余曹祥补充，公司虽然亏损，但市值却走高了不少。这是因为科技公司的估值并非来自盈利，而是来自市占率、内部价值等。

开年至今，客凯易股价从12仙走高至27仙，涨15仙。

“不少著名的科技公司，优步（Uber）、Grab Car等，皆面对亏损，但依旧引来不少资金注入该公司。以中国著名的滴滴打车为例，滴滴打车亏损额是营业额的3倍，但仍有机构投资这些新创公司。”

根据交易所，今年5月22日，余曹祥在公开市场拖售600万股，持股走低至1844万1666股，或3.847%。

余曹祥说，因公司早前进行了雇员认股计划，因此脱售上述股权，只是为了整合个人的资产。

客凯易总执行长余曹祥说，虽然东南亚尚未流行电子支付系统，但他相信很快会盛行起来。

他认为，与微信支付和支付宝技术对接是系统最基本的要求，而该公司已经掌握电子支付技术的价值。

他今天出席股东常年大会后说，该公司提供给本地客户的系统，都已具备微信支付和支付宝技术的接口，但开始启用的时间正等待中国方指示。

“我们的内部系统已具备这项技术，目前就看微信和支付宝要不要开放。我们系统对接已完成，随时他们要开放的话，我们就可以对接。”

客凯易在本地业务的客户包括，肯德基和 Nando’s 等。

近期，该公司所新研发的REV互动式点餐系统，获得中国连锁餐厅的供应合约，预计今年第三季开始会有2415万令吉的营业额入账。

之前，客凯易积极投入资本，发展另外两项业务，分别为云端销售终端系统（POS），及线上配送系统。

不急于赚利

客凯易四个财年连续亏损，余曹祥解释，许多科技公司在创立首几年都会面临亏损，不应太注重短期盈利，应以持续增长和市值为目标。

他说，目前不急于转亏为盈，因为业务扩展到一定的程度，就会改变市场的看法。

他也说，一年前该公司市值才4554万令吉，目前已达1亿2944万令吉，翻了将近3倍，反映出股民正慢慢接受该公司的经营模式。

客凯易去年投放600万令吉在研发工作，他披露，今年会把经费放在客制化产品。

另外，余曹祥透露，近期也与本地零售业者商讨收购活动。
