708,244,000 x 20% = 141,648,800 Tis is SEEK’s share in JOBST


At NA 0.33 tis is worth.. 141,648,800 x 0.33 = RM 46,744,104.. if JOBST remains listed


Let’s say.. blah blah blah benefits.. blah blah blah advantageous.. of listing.. tis n tat.. n so a PN17 n delisted JOBSTs value dropped by 50%..


RM 46,744,104 x 1/2 = RM 23,372,052 Tis could b SEEK's loss if JOBST is PN 17 n delisted..


RM 23,372,052 is big for anyone including d oz.. SEEK wld b really screwing itself to buy off d Jobst sub-grp biz now n caused itself tis big loss..

The reasons for FIL to keep selling could be :
1)They don't believe the deal will get through.
2)They have better choice of investment which can get better returns
during the waiting period.

because they are investment management company and they did not participate in the acquisition. seek is using a new subsidiary seek asia investment. the shareholders inside seek asia are seek limited,news corp,tiger golbal and macquarie global...these 4 parties are related

fund management company always review their portfoilio, they will rebalance their portfoilio from time to time. if they think the return of particular stocks is capped and not much upside of coz they will rebalance by cutting down their stakes and reinvest in stocks they feel got much more upside
