The turnaround with TM at helm did offer solace to GPacket having some stakes in P1 that is gonna launch LTE/4G services under the WEBE Mobile. They have sharing arrangement with Celcom so basically they're on P1/Celcom network.

The same goes for TuneTalk/XOX which is using Celcom networks.

Now just how much contribution from the mobile network biz is still in question....but nevertheless it is good news thou.

Hope TM can turn the company into greater heights.

Up becos they gonna announced their P1 with partnership TM, SK Telecom in launching Malaysia next 4G/LTE mobile service provider called WEBE.

So up only on announcement coming soon, we need to see the quarter result in coming months.

Well, looking on their quarter report, they are making loss with borrowing up to MYR200mil. It's definitely not good in FA.

....BUT....

3 months ago you will never imagine today TIMEdotmy can offer home broadband at 100mbps for RM149, and how Maxis backfired by netizen. Thing change really fast in this industry.

Lots of netizen express their anger and disappointment today because they are expecting Webe will announce their new plan.

I am not sure if it's a good or bad publicity for Webe, but from the reaction you can notice that Malaysian are not only looking for some 'good' service/product, but they are anticipating a REVOLUTIONARY plan and package. If CC Puan and his team can deliver the data plan at as low as RM10 for 20gbyte plan this coming July, it is going to be a game changer.

Gpacket have managed to closed above ema200 with a very higher vol and was slapped with an UMA today. Shld see it building up a support base at 0.26~0.28 before moving up higher :)

The plan is probably for promotional period. Once it is over, it will revert to normal rates. If it is revolutionary, Celcom will also have to close shop. And P1 in renting the network wholesale fr Celcom.
