ConnectCounty Holdings Berhad ("Connect" or "Company") - Clarification on an article dated 13 June 2020 entitled "This Stock Will Skyrocket More Than Glove Stocks Play! Superb Undervalued!"


The Board of Directors of Connect would like to clarify on an article appearing in klse.i3investor.com website on Saturday, 13 June 2020, entitled “This Stock Will Skyrocket More Than Glove Stocks Play! Superb Undervalued!”. It was quoted in the article that "..Connect would be next vehicle for the backdoor listing (reverse takeover) by S5 System..".


The Board of Directors of Connect wishes to inform that as of the date of this announcement, Connect is in negotiations with the relevant party pertaining to the possible reverse takeover exercise involving S5 Systems Sdn. Bhd.

The Company has not signed any agreement on the said matter. However, the Company shall make the necessary announcement(s) as appropriate when there are further developments on this matter.


The Board of Directors is cognisant of the need for proper dissemination of information to the public and will release the relevant announcement on any material issue in a timely manner as required by the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.


This announcement is dated 16 June 2020.

Buy on rumour. Sell on news. But with this announcement you will see serious investor buying. Contra or short term players are out. Cannot be shareholders selling. How can they sell when the RTO is in progress ?

For RTO they need certain ammount of shares. Fastest way to list for S5 within a month, compare to IPO. They tried listing but failed. So by doing a RTO, they can list even within a month without IPO.
